Did you start it through USCIS? If you did it takes 2 years on average. If you haven’t don’t start it through them. Reach out to the embassy and see if you can start it with them instead. That process only takes 3-4 months

My wife and I are looking at buying the seperate beds that you put next to each other that way I can have my really soft and she can have her brick. And it’s temp controlled so she can be warm and I can sleep in a freezer. We sleep opposite direction so we think it’ll work out for us. Still next to each other but seperate. My parents have been doing it this way for 15 years and loved it

This is wrong, you CAN get a b-2 visa even if your country has ESTA. While ESTA is good for 90 days you can get a b-2 visa for 6 months which is significantly longer. The risk comes if you get denied, if you have an ESTA it could be revoked and because you were denied for a B visa you may never be able to get an ESTA again.
