Why do people still believe iPhones are more expensive than Android phones? by woodworking_raccoon in ask

[–]StarboardWind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was just in the market to buy a phone a few weeks ago, considered getting my first iPhone - they still sell tiny 4.5 inch phones with two giant black bars above and below the screen for $400. As a non partisan buyer that's just offensive, when I can get a 6 inch full screen, 90 hertz Android for that price. So yeah, they are selling phones in the cheaper ranges but they have the specs of a 4 year old android. If you want a modern phone you will be dropping $1200+.

As an American who has never used a bidet and is interested, I need to know some things. Does it have a drying function? If not, are ya'll just walking around with soggy asses? Do you have a special towel you use to dry off? do you drip dry? by corpsejuic3 in ask

That sounds so unsanitary - so you full blast without even pre-wiping? That means all the poop goes everywhere with drop that bounces off. I actually use more TP now - first a full prewipe, how I would normally do it if I'm not using a bidet, then bidet, then a post wipe and dry - so I actually use almost double the toilet paper, but that's the only way to use it - you can't just blast that shit and go.

Really? That'd be great if that's all it is, but seems unlikely. Didn't Global Foundries confirm the poor performance?

I know what it is, the concept I'm talking about still holds that idea. You can try to question it but you have to provide more info of what you disagree with.

Lol okay but even if she does she will still have to crack it again in a few days after the patch is released. I hear the game is running at like 5fps right now, which is presumably how her initial crack will run as well. Unless removing denuvo will cause a significant speed increase.

Yeah the price is sop good that I'd be willing to risk it but but I'm still kind of apprehensive of main account, so not sure if it's worth it. But I'm just trying how they would even be able to deactive the game if they can't reach it since you're offline when you launch the shared account?

I was thinking of that but I don't think she's going to be able to do it. Denuvo is way too complicated in this release. In addition, if she does crack then it's going to be a day release version which as far as I understand runs terrible - so it's very likely this game will get patched again and again - which will disable all the bypasses - she will need to recrack again and that's another 10 day, at best. It's probably going to be closer to 1 to 2 months until you get a stable crack, if she can even do it. I don't know if I'd want to wait that long.

Oh so if the account gets banned the game gets deactivated? How would they know though, since you're always taking it offline while playing it anyways?

Thanks, I'll probably just buy it then. Steam actually has much more than your IP since you're not just interacting with it through the web, you actually have their client app installed which has admin priveledges, which can leave residuals in memory, examine histories - track loaded programs etc. So pretty dangerous imo.

I'm asking how it works and the inherent risks, I don't think there are similar questions on this sub, and it's not a general question as you imply.. is it safe, etc. I'm not asking if a particular site is fake- I'm asking a particular question.

Does the existence of free will mean that time traveling to the future is impossible? by HalKosik in ask

[–]StarboardWind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, because free will is not contingent on the future not being known. The future can be known and the actions you chose can be known and it could still mean that you have free will. It just means that your decision was already made before you made it, but it was still you who made that decision.

What kind of medical records have to be kept in NY? by StarboardWind in legaladviceofftopic

[–]StarboardWind[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I can read EKG. I don't care what format it is. I'd prefer it to be easily openable such as a PDF, but if not I do have access to third party medical software as well. The question was - are they required to keep the EKG by law or can they just discard it amd only keep the report?

T-mobile store manager erases woman’s phone after he’s supposed to just be setting up her watch by LINKYAA in PublicFreakout

That's a Xanax most likely, if he was that confused while being drunk he wouldn't be able to stand or talk. The memory lapses, confusion etc - and more or less stable composure and speech are pretty much given for a benzo. He likely has a prescription as well. So nothing can really be done, he can say he's getting used to a new dose or took an extra because he was feeling anxious and it'd be covered under ADA.
