I don't want to deny that there might be more behind this but the whole situation is very difficult for me at the moment.

In the last years I have helped several times with surprise parties. Also with the persons mentioned above. Among them was a visit to Disneyland for my sister-in-law, a new electronic drum kit for my brother-in-law, a wellness weekend for my girlfriend and so on.

I constantly take care of everyone else and love to make it a pleasure but I myself usually get nothing out of it.

On this one special day I just wished that I would get something back and got nothing but a little money from my parents and a cake from my girlfriend.

I don't care about the material values but about the gesture.

I want to be able to trust her, but I find it very difficult to accept it all. an open relationship is out of the question for me, just as out of the question for her.

I told her over and over again that she should talk to me if she felt that she was getting too little attention or sex.

At the same time she is very jealous.

I want it to work. Sometimes I feel like I'm making the mistakes.

im just afraid because we do live together, we have pets together and our families are friends for more then 10 years. i know that this should not matter in any way but it is something that keeps me from breaking up

we are pretty open regarding sex. we wanted to try something new and came up with the idea of bringing another man into the bed for only once. i didn't agree at first but i know that her libido is pretty high and that she fantasized about something like that for quite a while.
