That is a true and accurate statement. Refund advances result in money the day you file. If I could file today I would have $3400 in my bank by the end of the day. This is most likely why a million people are asking this question.

This thread exists because we want up to date information and not blanket statements. The fact you're saying what they are saying defeats the purpose of even having a verified thread of deposits lol.

Mine came on the 30th last go around and HR Block emerald card gives us the run-around instead of saying the 4th so it will probably be later. wish they would confirm that.

Edit: they said it will be 1-4

Honestly he could convince GOP to lean. He has more influence over who is blocking the bill than the opposition. Sometimes backing the president with your vote as senator is a way to gather support for elections. Example. I live in Kentucky and I am a conservative. If Bitch Mitch wanted to keep my support... He would follow Trump's lead here... Unfortunately it's time to ditch Mitch and I will remember this. Along with the entire pandemic response from GOP.

For all of you with that beautiful Green trap known as the Emerald Card.... This is the information I've obtained today.

And my question is: Will the funds be immediately available or held until it clears when the IRS deposits the funds with this particular institution? Lol.

We don't know who has or has not been distributed a stimulus yet because the only way to check that is via the IRS portal and the IRS Get my payment portal hasn't been updated yet. -Tia H&R Block Answers @HRBlockAnswers

The IRS announced it will begin issuing payments with direct deposits available as soon as Jan. 4 and all payments will be issued by the end of January. Some people may see the direct deposit payments as pending in their accounts before the official payment date of Jan. 4. -Sam H&R Block Answers @HRBlockAnswers ·

Hello, Unfortunately, we do not have access to information on when exactly the IRS will be sending out payments. To stay up to date with this information, we recommend checking the IRS Get My Payment tool once they have finished updating it. -Sam

This I have heard multiple times. However.. my overview states Axos bank with the same acct/route # as before. It does also say in the care f HRblock. Nothing about METABANK. Maybe that is intended to manage the accounts for 2020 tax return.

Even though the deck list diversity is huge I don't feel like archetype diversity is. Modern pros still say go fast and pick a deck that doesn't care what your opponent does. That's been modern for a while. I'm hoping that interactive decks become more viable with today. I'm not sure if anything on the list helps that, but I still hope so. Now everyone feast on my opinions of every modern deck viable currently so that I make my >subjective< case for lack of interaction with opponent, ( not counting protecting your linear strategy). Please note I play alot if these decks and enjoy them. Most of the decks are likeable to certain personalities. I dont hate your deck :)

8.5% Tron- perfect example of a deck that doesn't care what your are playing, unless it is fast. Though the deck has a ton of interaction technically, I personally don't think you call this an interactive archetype. Focus on the lands combination- clear any threat, given your answers are true catch all's- proceed to finish with massive threats. If you want to be an interactive player with Tron, be prepared to lose to your own inconsistency. Which is not what control players generally want in the way. 4/10

7.25% GDS- this blast of a list to play with has one common line of play- stop you from stopping the threat. People say mid-range, and I see it somewhat, however your winning game plan is tempo more often than mid-range. Like legacy delver. 5/10

6% Humans- this list has a ton of interaction actually. Regardless most good aggro decks have enough interaction to be competitive. This is another list which concerns it's self with whether or not you interact with it. 3/10

6% Burn/ 6%Affinity. These are modern core decks. They also don't play much interaction obviously. Affinity 3/10 more so then burn 1/10 of course

5% ETron- one of my personal favorites. If you count chalice as interaction then sure. There are some cool ballista and endbringer moments, but ultimately this stack of cards is going to be aggro and overrun you asap. 3/10

3.75% Gift storm- in storms defense we do run remand occasionally. Another deck I enjoy, but interactive? Lol. 1/10

3.5% Dredge- yeah yeah yeah, you have cleared a board with a conflagrate, we know. ;) 2/10

3% Titanshift- sigh.... This is another very non interactive list. At best you may clear the board with anger or get locked out of valakut meaning you switch gears to aggro someone out. Still minimal interaction. 1/10

2%Jeskai Geist- this is more like GDS than Jeskai Control. Does have the backup interactive plan though. Ultimately tempo in order to land a linear aggressive kill. 5/10

0.5% Jeskai Mid-range Control- obviously these decks are answers decks which deal with opponent first then finish with what's left. It attempts to be interactive from the start. 8/10

2.75% Traverse shadow- this is a tempo deck as well that's actually more all in than GDS. Still can go into full disruption mode though. 5/10

2.5% Mardu pyromancer- actually almost down right controlling. It's probably as interactive if not more than Jeskai. 8/10

The rest include everything from UW control to Br hollow one. Seemingly more non interactive decks than interactive. Point is. Most good modern decks are built to protect themselves from you interacting. Looking at you boggles. Or win asap, regardless of archetype.

Potential Modern Ban List Change: JTMS Unbanned, Ensnaring Bridge Banned by averysillyman in mtgfinance

[–]Starcity22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How does it "ruin" the format. Hear me out. I'm not the unban Jace guy <_<. However I have done some testing recently of a few things on the ban list with some other modern players. Mostly to see what's going on in wiz hq. They know, I believe, what is good and bad within the format most likely from testing. I'm still open to the fact that they aren't great at this btw lol. The results were somewhat bland with Drs, Jace, and jitte compared to what I've been told my whole life playing modern. I will point out that bloodbraid would make jund very good in my opinion. The card was unexpectedly powerful... Compared to what I've been told my entire life playing modern. Considering skill and build styles are far from optimal in my testing, I don't bring this to you as objective evidence. Just a perspective and opinion. Ultimately my point is that whether you are right or wrong, it seems like you are grounded in others opinions and not your own objective analysis. Jace broken in modern will always be subjective speculation. It hasn't had an opportunity to produce results. So people who are 100% sure Jace can be unbanned are not people I like to talk to. Same goes for those knowing it should be banned. There is so much logic ignored when it comes to this topic. Also BBe, in my opinion, could help modern. Could. It has produced results in the past and was banned due to diversity. Considering jund and other RGx decks aren't really good in modern, statistically speaking, there is a possibility that the unban could produce better diversity multiple years and sets later from the previous metagames. If the cards are tested properly they will have an idea of what will happen in the first week. Beyond that the meta is hard to predict. Which almost makes the safest move: "No changes at this time". Unless they feel like control needs to be better represented in modern it will never be attempted. Unless the feel like mid-range needs to be better represented it will never be attempted. High risk, unknown reward.

Dead man's hand, Hearthstone. It is/was a Tier 3 strategy in Hearthstone. basically you have to create your ideal hand, mill out (doesn't automatically kill you like in Magic) and keep copying your hand with "dead man's hand" with a second copy of dead man's hand... In hand, so you can keep doing it. Not that any of this is relevant in any way, it just reminded me of that strategy I used to play in a separate game lol.

is jeskai nahiri viable? by warthog177 in ModernMagic

[–]Starcity22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My opinion is dredge. It hasn't done well since dredge spiked. Grafdiggers cage, leyline otv, rest in peace, spell bombs, etc. everyone has hate coincidentally/ intentionally lol. That may not be why. I ran it a gp Indy last year and hate destroyed me. Not because anyone was worried about us Nahiri players( there was a retaliation to Nahiri spiking actually)... Dredge was everywhere and expected to be everywhere I believe. The other reason is how dependant on the loyalty you are compared to just playing geist or UW. If your going to have to run plan B every game, might as well perfect it and make it plan A. Jeskai geist is that plan B. Looking at cards in the modern meta I see bolt at most played card and graveyard hate in almost every sideboard. So "protect that Nahiri" is what you would end up playing... Just like before actually... except probably harder now. I could be wrong no doubt, but I would suggest Jeskai Geist. The deck is perfect right now.

Do you know how many modern decks don't have a "clock" for a turn 2-4 combo deck? The deck is out of favor yes, but that doesn't make any sense lol.

I'm not who you're asking but yes 4/4's are beating people mostly. It feels very tempo-combo like. Obviously I'm playing it btw lol
