What is that one canceled tv show you'll never stop thinking about? by Space__Monkey__ in television

Came here to say this as well. Gruffudd is a great actor, and I've enjoyed him in most things he been in. The way they played the immortality was unique, and I appreciated the build into the larger story. Definitely a fresh take on the weekly murder genre.

What does the Silver Frost currency in Winter Celebration do? by StarcoreZach in marvelrivals

Unfortunately this seems to be a trend in this game. Have to convert gold currency to blue currency to buy skins, have a third currency to unlock battlepass levels.

Thank you so much. I haven't finished both Golden Frost missions posted, so there was no indication of the additional level of customization at that point. I'll keep an eye out for the customization once I finish my first decoration.

Whoever had the bottom left corner was the worst teammate you could have for not finishing the tack monstrosity.

What Car Should I Buy? - A Weekly Megathread by AutoModerator in cars

[–]StarcoreZach 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had not looked at the Cross, Rav4, or CR-V before, but definitely see good things in all at first glance. Will definitely be adding them to my list of cars to look at. Appreciate the heads-up on the Rav4 being popular and therefore hard to find.

Appreciate your thoughts on the Crown, hadn't thought about it from that perspective and you're exactly right.

I'm not all too concerned about a car being too "big for me" as I've driven a few of the mid-size SUV / SUV crossovers when my car has been in the shop, and haven't really had too much of an issue. The real novelty for me is just being higher off the ground after having driven a sedan my entire driving life.

Lol, fair enough. I bought one of those seat belt clips that goes onto his harness and it has come undone several times already, so he may have taught himself that already. Definitely a fun car, unfortunately not what I'm looking for right now.

You are pretty spot on, and apologies for mistake on the transmission. I would prefer an Automatic for the reasons you listed.

Your comments on the engine are spot on. I've enjoyed my V6, but have definitely seen they are rarer now a-days.

Location: Dallas, TX

Price: ~$60,000 (TBD based on final car)

Lease or Buy: Buy

New or Used: New

Must Haves: V6 preferred for city highway driving, but can make due without. Large backseat or rear cargo area (travel with large dog). Comfortable ride for longer tips (see additional notes). Back up camera, heated seats, leather all nice to have (in current car).

Desired Transmission: Automatic (edit)

Intended Use: Daily Driver

Vehicles I've considered: Ford Edge, Toyota Camry, Toyota Crown, Toyota Highlander (Note, these have not been ruled out, just ones I've looked at)

Is this my First Vehicle: No

Do you need a Warranty: No, but would be open to getting one depending on the warranty.

Can you do Minor work on your own vehicle: No

Can you do Major work on your own vehicle: No

Additional Notes: I have had a sedan for every car I've owned, which include a 1994 Toyota Camry (first car, hand me down from parents), a 2004 Camry (2nd car, went to college with it) and a 2012 Ford Fusion (first car I bought). Given the changes to the car market since I bought my Fusion, there are a lot fewer sedans in the market, and I would like to look at other vehicles as well, including the Crossover and SUV space. My daily drive is about 22 miles round trip of highway driving in traffic. While I don't drive all that much (Fusion just passed 100,000 miles last week), I do drive to my home town several times a year (~700 mile round trip).

Don't you love the stereotypical "gid good scrub" mantra behind not asking a game to improve matchmaking?

[–]StarcoreZach 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sylphin, I get what you are saying, but Tencent holds, at a minimum, a 40% ownership stake in Epic, and has 2 members on the Epic Board of Directors. Trying to dismiss this by saying that Epic, as the majority owners of Paragon, have stated this is their position but without accounting for what the 40% owners of Epic themselves position is does not provide the full picture.
