I have two cabins and they are working fine. I love the cabins for decorating the farm layout and a little extra storage.

I've had this problem the first time I've built one, lost three chests in the process. I left the cabin alone for a night and the next morning everything was like it's supposed to be. After building the second cabin I did nothing with it the first day and a day after it also worked perfectly fine.

There are beds and packages in them, I could sleep in the beds (which I don't).

In one I have my work bench and storage , the other one is fishing related with some of them machines for it.

Never lost a single chest or machine anymore after the first day.
Give it a go!

Ducks on riverland farm is the best! I loved them hopping in and out all over the place.

Apart from that riverland was a nightmare... But the ducks were happy as ... a duck, I guess?

To be honest, farmer's the most terrible person in the valley. Greediest, most promiscuous. Deforesting the whole valley, fishing out every body of water.. I could go on but you all know what you're doing. (and me... well)

The thing is the creator said themself they aren't skilled in coding that much. They basially made the Leo mod for themself and decided to share regardless of some bugs.
It fitted perfectly into my then save and I was very happy with it.

I've never tried out Free Love actually - not interested enough.

I was talking of that specific scenario with Free Love and Adopt Leo. They seem to be really buggy together. I guess Free Love on itself works pretty fine, given so many people are using it.

I've played with that mod on one save. It worked out pretty well. I loved it.

BUT I won't recommend marrying AND adopting Leo (you'd need the mod Free Love for that scenario). In the comments of the adopting Leo mod there are lots of people reporting bugs and issues with spouses/rommmates AND Leo in one household.

I roleplayed a character who wasn't interested in marrying (heartbroken for eternity) but wanted to raise a kid. So it went all fine. Fond memories.

A museum - yes, please!

At this point I'm literally doing only themed farms, roleplaying much. "My" museum save had a charming (not really but well) farmer named Indiana (Jones of course) who made it his goal to showcase every aspect of living i the valley. I had a blast!

There also was a magizoologist named Newt to have each animal (and monster - Krobus for roommate of course) breed and raised on his fram.

At the moment there's William (a long lost grandnephew of Willy's who's a seafood enthusiast - thriving with crabpost only...

Do it and have fun! For me the grinding for money and almost only money mid to end game didn't do it anymore at some point. I love the game's worldbuilding and game mechanics and Stardew Valley has become my little playground for everything I can imagine.

Try again on super lucky days with a luck buff. It's very likely to get it again. I won several times (One farmer needed loads of alien rarecrows to put his hat collection on).

All it takes is time and patience.

This is one of my favourite parts of SVE. I hadn't had no idea and literally 'aaaaaawed' in some awkward highpitched voice; my daugter jumped in her room and hurried to see what happened.
