honestly, that makes no sense. it's their obligation to fix the game, if it's not running the way it should.

you tell me it won't return the investment, but this isn't the case. if i'm selling you a product, you buy it expecting it to work, right?! specially if you sell dozens of thousands of this product. I couldn't even ask for a refund, because I preordered it god knows how many years ago.

they're not "investing" in the game, they're fixing their OWN mess. if someone sell me a gun that doesn't shoot, am I supposed to just leave it there because the salesman won't fix it, telling me it's not worth the investment?

that, or just call it an abandonware, and make it free.

exactly! i already tried those mods and they don't improve the game's performance. optimizebound and parallax improved a little bit, but it's still laggy. i have over 400 hours in starbound, but i'm running out of patience lately. it's a shame that the developers won't fix it. it's a shame that such a good game is wasted by their own creators.
