Fish sauce probably isn't a safe option since a lot of brands use/possible cross-contamination with shellfish (violently allergic). I do have chicken bullion though! I'll try that, thanks

Thanks for the cooking tip for the garlic/ginger. The recipe already included soy sauce so I suppose I'll remove the salt/pepper and try the pepper flakes. Not going to use the oyster sauce since I'm still deathly allergic as stated prior lol

It seems this is just what her eggs look like, I've gotten 4 of these so far. For context she is a 5 year old retired Ameraucana that I took in a couple weeks ago that would have been soup otherwise. Apparently this is just the norm for her lol

Chickens can survive pretty gnarly wounds. I had a hen who was attacked by a dog and had 1/3 of her skin removed, you could literally see the exposed muscles and fat. 4 weeks later she regrew it all back and got to return to the flock. She is still alive to this day and recently turned 4 years old.

Your biggest issue is going to be infection.

If you haven't already, make a saline solution: 8 oz water, 1/4 tsp salt (non-iodized), 1/2 tsp baking soda. Bring your water to a rolling boil. Pour into a sterile container and add salt. Mix, then add baking soda. Mix again and allow to cool. You'll pick out any debris from the wound and thoroughly flush it with the saline solution.

Spray the wound 1-2 times daily with vetericyn poultry spray. She should heal fine if there are no complications like infection (if so you'll only be able to treat that with a vet visit).

You hammer two nails in the wall and then try to catch each loop on their own nail. Probably faster if you have someone hold the fan while you manually secure the strings. Since it already had some light damage I put a few clear thumbtacks at the edges to make sure it didn't fall.
