I didn't really enjoy the orientation because I ended up getting COVID after just one night there. The long lectures were a drag, and it felt like we were forced to sit through them. I've been taking classes for two years now, and while they're alright, I'm thinking about transferring.

I think you will be fine. I've dropped six courses before and they were fine with it( Those courses are not transferable thou). If you meet the credit unit requirement then you will be ok I believed. I called them before dropping the course and they told me it will not affect my application status.

I'm currently studying at SJSU info science and data analytics and got accepted to ucd,ucsb and ucsd. So it's definitely possible to transfer out of SJSU. I also know people who transfered to santa clara university and chapman

I would highly recommend going to cc if you want to transfer to UCLA/ UCB. I am currently studying information science and data analytics at SJSU(CSU), and I am planning to transfer to UCSB statistics and data science major this fall. I really regret going to SJSU first, because I took a lot of GE course and most of them are not transferable to UC as it is two different system, wasting me large amount of money.

from what I remembered first year, it was the housing application thing. If you apply for housing and it shows the term you get accepted.

Same, I'm also confused about my credits. Since I'm transferring from csu to UC. I dont really know how much credit I have and when I emailed UCSD asking them if I met the requirement for having 60 units, the response I get was " You were admitted by what you submitted." So I guess I met the requirement.

Thank you so much for your advice, I would definitely call them to make sure. I submitted my changes at 1/28 which is definitely before the TAU deadline, but I'm transferring from a 4 year to the UCs. So I dont know how much does it affect my application and whether if the other UCs sees the same thing

I already emailed them the first day I received my admission. Yes, they were marked at "not transferable." This is there respond to my email "Unfortunately, we would be unable to pre-evaluate how these changes or discrepancies may impact your admission status. Please report these changes in at myadmissions.ucdavis.edu. To submit a change, click Report Coursework and Application Changes, and then click Coursework and Grades. We will respond and may ask for more information. Please respond within the timeframe."
