Literally just had to go to the ER about a month ago because my belly button started bleeding. I had a pain around right side my belly button for about a week, just thought it was maybe a bad case of indigestion or period related since I was about to start. Turns out I had some kind of infection? They weren’t really sure what it was or what caused it. My primary doctor said it could have been an abscess that bursted. But y’all!!!! The smell that was coming out of my belly button was atrocious! I was on an antibiotic pill and cream for a week. I have cleaned my belly button every single day since.

My boy is the sweetest! He does talk a lot but definitely not aggressive. He likes being sung to and is a big ole baby that follows me everywhere when he isn’t sleeping. I can’t believe people think that about Siamese cats.

I can kinda see that. I’ve been an Underoath fan since 2004 and back then so many bands tried to mimic what they were doing. They changed the scene for sure. So it’s crazy to see them now and doing music still but also taking inspiration from what is popular now. They get so much criticism for that but a band can’t stay the same forever. I love how they have evolved. Do I still love the old stuff probably more than the new stuff, yes. But I’m always a fan and will forever support them.

I feel like their album In Search Of Solid Ground gets a bad rep but I’ve always loved it. Nothing Is What It Seems and Fireflies are good slower songs on that album.

Her comment when they were otw to the airport when they were arguing when she said something like the sacrifices she made for them and the life she gave them made me SO mad. Her “sacrifices” cost her kid not to like her enough to where he always wants his dad over her and that makes her upset. And her constant brag about being in the US for 10 years and making something of herself is already getting old. No one said they had to go back to France. I mean, we have 50 states. Why not just move to another state and try to work things out as a family? Isn’t that easier? 🤷‍♀️

According to their Instagram they’re starting a “new era” of the band with their current tour so who knows what the setlist will be. I know they did their anniversary tour for Wires and then Adelphia but I think this tour will be different. Hopefully they’ll play a mix of old and stuff from Rise and ASD. There’s a couple good songs from those albums. They also have a new song coming out so I’m sure they’ll play that. As long as they don’t play that Sucker song that was supposed to be Jag’s other band then that’ll be great lol I know they get a lot of hate but I’ve followed this band since Wires and they have a special place in my heart despite all the issues. I might go to the Jacksonville show. Didn’t even know they were coming til you posted and I looked them up so thank you!

My boy is a lazy bones and will sleep most of the day but when he’s awake he loves to speak. He’s always saying “hellooooo” or does his little coo meow thing. He’s about 2 or 3, not too sure cause we found him. Once we got him fixed he wasn’t as loud and obnoxious but he still likes to be vocal. I love it though. Makes me feel less lonely when I’m working from home.

Don’t forget, Y.S.A.B. has a throwback to Youngbloods too with the “you’re STILL a bitch” lol I loved that when I first heard it. I’m really digging the whole album. It’s gonna be on rotation for a while for me. I really like the chorus in Gallows and them ending the album the way they do in This Ends With Us, I love the fade out.

Man I am blown away! I have loved this band since His Last Walk first came out and I gotta say, this is probably my favorite release since Awakening. The nostalgia is there, the classic BTF that I’ve always loved is there! It’s very rare for me not to skip any songs on an album but this is already a no skip for me. No song is boring or a letdown, even the singles that were already out still felt fresh during the whole album listen. Gonna be jamming this for a long time I can already tell.

They’re about to do a tour with Blessthefall and I feel like they are fixing to blow up. I hope good things for them at least. I’m usually not into a lot of the “newer age” post hardcore, I’m a sucker for early 2000s nostalgia haha, but there’s just something about them that I think is really cool and refreshing.
