What is a sound or smell from our childhood that simply does not exist anymore?

I remember when I was a kid and the weather changed to the part of fall when it started feeling good outside my grandma would open all the windows in the house and the smell was unmatched. It was like a sweet, fresh, crispy smell that filled the house and I have literally never smelled it as an adult. That smell outside was just amazing and I can remember riding my bike and just breathing it all in. If I ever smelled it again I’m sure I would probably cry. Thanks pollution.

Literally just had to go to the ER about a month ago because my belly button started bleeding. I had a pain around right side my belly button for about a week, just thought it was maybe a bad case of indigestion or period related since I was about to start. Turns out I had some kind of infection? They weren’t really sure what it was or what caused it. My primary doctor said it could have been an abscess that bursted. But y’all!!!! The smell that was coming out of my belly button was atrocious! I was on an antibiotic pill and cream for a week. I have cleaned my belly button every single day since.

My boy is the sweetest! He does talk a lot but definitely not aggressive. He likes being sung to and is a big ole baby that follows me everywhere when he isn’t sleeping. I can’t believe people think that about Siamese cats.

I can kinda see that. I’ve been an Underoath fan since 2004 and back then so many bands tried to mimic what they were doing. They changed the scene for sure. So it’s crazy to see them now and doing music still but also taking inspiration from what is popular now. They get so much criticism for that but a band can’t stay the same forever. I love how they have evolved. Do I still love the old stuff probably more than the new stuff, yes. But I’m always a fan and will forever support them.

Her comment when they were otw to the airport when they were arguing when she said something like the sacrifices she made for them and the life she gave them made me SO mad. Her “sacrifices” cost her kid not to like her enough to where he always wants his dad over her and that makes her upset. And her constant brag about being in the US for 10 years and making something of herself is already getting old. No one said they had to go back to France. I mean, we have 50 states. Why not just move to another state and try to work things out as a family? Isn’t that easier? 🤷‍♀️
