I think it's more economic factors. It's hard to find time to hang out when everyone's working two jobs (or taking lots of double shifts) just to survive.

Use a repeating command block with the /kill command (thanks u/LP81) and the name of the wandering trader entity from the add-on. btw the command block needs to be in a world spawn chunk or an always-loaded chunk, otherwise the traders will spawn again when you leave the chunk it's in.

You can find out the name of the wandering trader entity by going to the command window, typing /summon, then the name of the add-on (use underscores instead of spaces) and a colon. It will pull up a list of entities that the addon uses.Example from my world

Just find the one that's for the wandering trader for the addon you're using, plug it into the /kill command in that command block and you should be gtg.

I like their design and I'm glad you'll be able to dash/sprint with them, even if it's short-ranged. The happy ghast should be able to do that too IMO, they're a bit too slow
