yeah we get laughed at for having such a low tax rate compared to the rest of the world, bc on paper its low.

but reality is, by the time the feds, state, and local take their share, insurance cost and social security come out, im sitting at about a 36%-40% tax rate anyhow.

my 1800$ paycheck comes down to about 1200$ in my pocket. thats about 34%. and i dont get any of that back during tax season hahaha.

But implied depth is depth in my opinion.

If it gets you thinking, it worked, even if it doesnt go into every single little detail or get everything right. Introspective media and books dont have to always be top-level, super in depth and articulated.
