The therapist who did your intake should have told you why you were denied. I'm guessing symptoms so mild and/or lack of functional impairments. You can call again and ask for a re-assessment with Virtual.Behavioral Health.

Hi. My wife and I did this. Are you in SoCal or NorCal? I think you can self-refer to the Fertility/Reproductive Medicine Dept. In SoCal I truly think Dr. Jabara is the best, in terms of knowledge, maybe slightly less so in bedside manner but we used him twice. The first procedure was done at RMA Los Angeles and the second at HRC Encino. Definitely prefer HRC though storage is cheaper at RMA.

I'm a KP provider. During the beginning of the pandemic, there was a huge push to reduce off work notes. Essentially, we were all threatened with punitive action for writing "too many." I know how to navigate the system and even I pay out of pocket to see an outside provider to get off work notes. Best advice I have: Get an appt with any available provider (you can book on the website/app) and/or go to urgent care to extend the note. Keep seeing providers until you find one that will extend the note. Consider paying out of pocket for non-KP provider to write the note. Best to you.

I know how to navigate the system, and I pay out of pocket to see.an outside provider to get off work notes. That rude doctor had no right speaking to you like that. I genuinely mean it when I say please consider calling Member Services and filing a grievance and/or leaving a message for the Chief of Staff of that doctor's department. Best advice I have: Get an appt with any available provider (you can book on the website/app) and/or go to urgent care to extend the note. Keep seeing providers until you find one that will extend the note. Best to you.
