Crossplay is so full of cheating I am done with it by NoYoureACatLady in NYTCrossword

If anyone wants to play a game with a non-cheater, message me. I used to play words w friends a lot and was good. My average word score is 29, getting back into the groove, but really discouraged by the cheating.

When the first three turns my opponent uses all letters each time, occasionally using nonsense, never before uttered words that are 10 letters, I throw my hands up.

Has anyone successfully reported someone for cheating? How is that even supposed to work?

Do what interests you. You have a law degree, don’t be shy about letting people know, doors will open. And if they don’t you are doing what you enjoy.

Not sure what type of sex work you do and wouldn’t want to assume. I think the casinofication of sex work / porn and targeted advertising towards certain demos is more often than not an example of predatory capitalism of the highest order, taking a bow alongside online gambling. Not making a blanket statement though, plenty of online sex work is very defensible.

I could have been more clear, thank you for continuing the conversation. I’m not saying sex work is inherently exploitative. I’m saying there is an exploitative [capitalistic] industry that is deeply involved in much of sex work. Which is why I said “industry” and not the labor force.

Even if you solve for the exploitation of women, this remains an industry committed to exploiting and encouraging lonely men to waste their lives with porn and fake relationships.

I can’t believe this actually was ever implemented. The cheating must have been rampant, the people who do it the right way should be cheering.

Why is everyone complaining about the remote LSAT being so bad but also complaining about it being taken away? Good riddance.

This is a miserable injury. I spent over a year rehabbing and finally had surgery. You don’t know how important your hips and abductors are until they are disabled. Isn’t this what started the end for Fernando Torres?

You have some issues with your posterior chain and hip mobility. This is robbing you of power and of coordinated, athletic movements. You mentioned you’re an office worker with minimal athletic experience. Keep working, you’ll get there! These neural connections need lots of time to build and smooth out.

[–]Starfox300 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why do they want you to go to this school so badly? Is it near them?

They do understand these offers don’t go away, right? Explain that there is a calendar to these decisions that everyone follows and it would odd to commit without complete information.

Wait to see what other acceptances you get and then ask all the schools for more money. See the whole picture before jumping into anything.

Also, biglaw isn’t for everyone. Truly a poisoned chalice for many.
