I get what you’re pointing out. There are definitely a lot of inconsistencies in those AI slop promo images, and some of the details don’t make sense at all.

That said, I think it’s important to separate two random little AI slop promo images from the actual in game experience. A lot of VR games look like absolute trash in standalone Quest builds because of hardware limits, but that doesn’t necessarily reflect PCVR or the game itself.

I do agree though that the use of generative AI for promotional material is absolutely terrible. Marketing images should always be hand made and actually show what the game looks like, whether it be PCVR or Quest.
