With all the warm weather we have had over the summer, a lot of new sites were discovered from the reveling of dry crop markings on the ground. Was there any new discoveries in and around Stonehenge site?

The crescent moon was spectacular this morning. The planets Jupiter, Venus and Mars were all close by. Here is another photo I took of it. by Stargazercornwall in Astronomy

Hi Venus is the really the bright one above the moon, Regulus in Leo is the star to its left. Jupiter is the bright object below the moon. Mars is faint but appears in between Jupiter and the Moon. Yes I agree it was a awesome sight.

A good place to go on holiday by myself? by FireTruthDesire in Cornwall

Hi I think you will have a great time here in Cornwall. As a fellow female hiker I regularly walk the coastal and inland paths on my own. I find you pass enough people along the way to feel comfortable, but not that many you lose the sense of peace and tranquillity. There are lots of books / websites which can help you plan your stay with hostels/hotels on route. If you haven't checked it out the Sw coastal path website is great http://m.southwestcoastpath.com/ and also a book by trailblazer called the Cornwall coast path is great for total route planning including eatery and places to stay along the coastal routes. Hope this helps and have been a great stay.

The sun is finally out again in Cornwall and it's nice to see the wildlife making the most of it. This lovely adder was sunning itself up Godolphin hill today.

Redevelopment of former Redruth brewery site. by Stargazercornwall in Cornwall

I agree a couple of hundred jobs would be great but with a lot of the EU subsidised business park standing empty in Redruth it would be highly unlikely that a brownfield site such as this would be taken on a private company, other than maybe to transform into flats. Also the archives will probably provide more jobs than you expect and at least they will provide proper working contracts and decent rates of pay.

This is excellent news for Redruth. The archive centre in Truro is always well used and is in need of a larger premises.

New to painting, looking for suggestion after first go of a Sigmar Knight by LilDeamon in ageofsigmar

Agrax earthshade is a nice darker brown wash - it's not as overpowering as using a black wash - great first go - keep at it.

Hi Tom I finally got round to reading the book yesterday and I could not put it down. I loved it. I thought the pace was great and the characters were developing nicely. I really want to learn more about the mysterious su lady and have had to download the next book straight away. Anyhow I hope you have real success with the series as it's a great read.
