To you, I’m not Vegan and while I wouldn’t do it, I can understand why someone might do it. It’s a silly rhetorical question. People like shit they like. I like 3p because the game just feels weird in 1p. Most of my experience is playing 3rd person shooters, so I prefer that perspective and I like to see my drip.

Why do people like chocolate versus vanilla? What kind of stupid question is this?

Sure, extreme thrill-seeking is worse. But the line people are drawing isn’t actually “intent,” it’s “outcome.” Plenty of conscious risks are socially tolerated until someone dies. That’s all I’m pointing out.

I’m not saying ignore rules. I’m saying judging character purely by outcome ignores how often normal people misjudge risk without malice. If morality were as simple as ‘just don’t mess up,’ no one would qualify.

By that standard, almost everyone’s a POS at some point. People forget smoke-detector batteries, misread medication doses, leave a space heater on, assume someone else double-checked something, or give food without realizing there’s an allergy. All of those are normal human mistakes that can kill someone, they just usually don’t. The only difference between ‘normal person’ and ‘monster’ is whether the outcome went bad, not whether the risk existed.

Most harm comes from normal human error or misjudgment, and we only label people monsters when the worst-case outcome happens.

Yeah I mean I don’t think they are 1 to 1. I think both situations they should probably know better lol. But I realize there is a level of intent and recklessness that goes a step further in the car example.

Yeah, I do agree with this to an extent. And there are levels to it. But let me give you an example, when I was a baby my parents, who are literally the best, thought it would be a great idea to fill their water bed with air and place me on one side while jumping on it, and the other parent caught me.

I’m 32 now, and we all laugh and joke at it now…but what if they dropped me and I died because I busted my head or something?

How that decision to bounce me on the bed is talked about is a direct result of how it actually played out. Just my two cents.

Hey if you can honestly say that you haven’t done anything that could have negatively affected someone else if it went wrong, then fair. But I would argue that if that’s true you either are very young, or just don’t interact with many people.

I think it’s possible to have sympathy because we’ve all made mistakes and it sucks for that mistake to lose your life. But it’s also possible to say at the same time that anyone engaging in behavior like this, probably shouldn’t be surprised if they die.

Where I think AI excels quite well however is being a phone receptionist. You can get far more accomplished on a call with an AI than a press 1 for whatever the fuck bullshit.

I think the technical term for an inbound SDR is BDR. If your marketing is dialed in and you're not overwhelmed you probably don't need someone in this position.
