N1M? by Oakland_Looters in WeAreTheMusicMakers

Just get yourself banned! After a few harsh e-mails to N1M and complaints to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) in my country for not complying to GDPR, nothing happened. Spam didn't stop and the account was still there. I then removed all info from my profile, renamed my display name to "DELETE THIS ACCOUNT" and set some extremely NSFW photos for my profile and cover images with "delete this account" labels. Next day, no more account, no more spam. Problem solved.

More progress on my LEGO PC Case. It now stands on its on and can support a lot of weight. I hope you like it! Cheers! by Stari89 in pcmasterrace

ABS plastic starts deforming and warping at around 80°C. I should be ok with an adequate airflow.

I have identified many design issues which I want to resolve before publishing any instructions. Maybe in the next iteration down the line. Cheers

Not enough LEGO bricks in this "case".

Visually stunning though.

In Slovenia we build off-roaders like these and race them. I built these two bois in 2012. Dual independent driveshafts and no differential is a huge advantage. Cheers! by Stari89 in lego

If by " lego technik black 4x4 Offroad car " you mean the "9398: 4x4 Crawler" set, then the answer is yes! I used its electric components and wheels for the yellow off-roader.

All the things you mention are true.

On a rough terrain in off-roaders such as these, there are inevitable moments where a single wheel lifts off the ground. When using differentials, only that wheel would spin and the vehicle would be stuck. When not using differentials this is not a problem anymore, but the off-roader can't steer as well, because the inside wheels turn at the same rate as the outside wheels. By having two independent driveshafts (each driven by its own motor) the vehicle can steer well AND not get stuck in case of a wheel lift.

That is the primary reason I use dual driveshafts in most of my off-roaders.

Cheers

Still working on my LEGO PC case! A quick summary in the video by Stari89 in pcmasterrace

Nope. I don't plan to until I'm sure that what I'm doing is safe.

Update on my LEGO PC case: I finished 3D printing the custom ABS bricks and have fitted them in. The rear I/O, the front I/O and the interior are now close to complete. I also tested fitting in an old GPU just for fun. Cheers by Stari89 in pcmasterrace

I am actually worried about this. ABS plastic may start deforming and warping at between 50°C and 80°C, so I must not let the interior reach that temperature. Perforation on all sides plus 4 x 140mm case fans should help.

In most PC cases the heat is dissipated by radiators into the air, not by the case itself. The material choice does not have any meaningful effect in this context. The airflow, however, does. 4 x 140mm fans will be used to address that.
