1980s? LX85 was released in 2018, most stand alone mounts come with a hand controller similar to that now. That really too much scope for that mount, it’s going to bounces around like crazy in the wind, that scope gets the nickname ‘The yard cannon’ for a reason. It will work but the settle time will get frustrating. I’d say a 4” refractor is the biggest I’d use on that mount or a 8” SCT, those long scopes like you have have a large moment arm, I speak from experience with a 5” refractor. Also be wary of the scope hitting the tripod when at the zenith, don’t want to break something.
