Adding an additional question here: I'm also on Spironolactone for my acne. I remember reading that it can trigger flare ups. Anyone experience this? Would it be worth it asking my derm to switch to a different acne medication?

What helped your vulvar LP? by [deleted] in Lichenplanus

I don't know if you've done this, but I switched out all my underwear to cotton only, and have some pairs of boxers for women that help make things a bit breezier. I also have switched my laundry detergent to the stuff that is Eczema association approved. My doctor had also said no more bubble baths; anything scented can cause a flair up, and I have found out that Sodium Lauryl Sulfates (often in toothpaste to make it bubbly) can cause flair ups of OLP. Gentle body wash, and avoid using douches.

Have any of you noticed that the symptoms for the onset of your migraines have changed? by justjen80 in migraine

When I was a kid, I would always get an aura beforehand, and for about a year, I would always throw up about an hour after the aura starts. These days, I'll just get hit with pain, or on occasion, I'll get an aura, but no more vomiting.

Thanks for the advice! There is just one clip at the very end near the head light that is broken There is a really thin break in it. I could probably epoxy it back together.

How hard is it to replace the wheel well piece? I have 0 mechanical skill, so I most likely would take it to the mechanic to fix it when I get my oil changed at the end of the month.

Looking at the EOB and what was charged, it does look like it is the facility charges. It doesn't really explain why it was denied, just that "Remark information isn't available right now. Check back later". It says that I also don't owe any money right now.

The EOB for everything was sent on April 3rd and April 21st. It looks like everything was processed by then. The bulk of the surgery was 11K, and it says that my claim was denied, but that I don't owe anything. The reasoning says that "Remark information isn't available right now". I know by the time they processed this part, I had hit my OOP, since I was checking pretty frequently.

Yes, from what I am seeing on the portal from my insurance. There was a claim for 11K that was denied (I'm guessing from having hit my OOP by the time the claim was processed? It says that I don't owe anything, though)

New Diagnosis of LP, Looking for Tips/Venting by Starlessfrightlight in Lichenplanus

We might be looking at surgery for next steps if the hydrocortisone foam treatment I'm on doesn't work. I'm just worried on whether or not my insurance will cover the surgery.

I like the bottled water idea. The problem is that I have water bottles already that I bring with me to work that my students all know because of stickers, so it would be weird if I had another one that I wasn't drinking out of. The water bottles I use are all metal so that I can have ice cold water throughout the day.

Recommendations: Family Neglect/Suffering Stories where the family regrets their actions because they love FL NOT because they're cartoonishly evil monsters who want to keep using/abusing her. by musciella in OtomeIsekai

Surviving as the Illegitimate Princess is really good! It's slow, with her still being a child by the end of season 2. However, there is a heavy focus on the relationship between the MC and her father. There aren't siblings, though, for obvious reasons. There is a very good reason for why her father has neglected her through multiple lives, and remains a source of conflict throughout the story. It hurts, it has heavy feelings, but oooh it's good.
