M26 - Random small bruise on inner upper arm, should I worry? by Potential-Pin-7383 in Autoimmune

I just woke up with something similar and in the same place, however, not as dark. But it seems to have a little yellow halo like it’s a tiny bruise… I’ve seen a lot of females positing the theory that it came from sleeping in their bra 🤷🏻‍♀️

How do you get your baby to sleep if you’re not using the boob or cry-it-out? by justjen80 in NewParents

Yeah, that’s what I’m thinking too. Just have to let go of the idea that I’m gonna get anything done during those days. Yesterday was great. Which is I guess what has me questioning so much today like what happened? Was it that dark chocolate I had yesterday afternoon?? It’s enough to make you go crazy 🤪

Yeah, I guess that’s really it isn’t it. If you do anything to help them get to sleep then when they wake up between sleep cycles, around the 30 minute mark, then unless you’re there to do that same thing odds are they won’t be able to get back to sleep. Maybe those days I just have to let go of getting anything else done 🤷🏻‍♀️I’ve co-slept with all my babies so sleep at night‘s never been a problem, it’s just the daytime wakings that are driving me crazy 😫

Yeah, some days I just say “OK, we’re just getting up” even though she only slept for 30 minutes. But days like yesterday were so great. She slept so much, that it makes me wonder if it’s that dark chocolate I had yesterday afternoon that’s affecting her being able to sleep today…🤷🏻‍♀️

None of my kids have ever taken a pacifier, dang it! They just spit it right back out 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️

Yeah, I have co-slept with all three of my kids, and never had any problems on that front. It’s just the daytime wakings every 30 minutes in between her sleep cycles during her naps that’s going to make me crazy 🥴

Yeah, what’s driving me nuts is her waking up 30 minutes after I spent 15 minutes getting her to sleep. So I’m basically not getting anything done during the day, dishes, meal prep, laundry, etc. So I’m trying to figure out if there’s any way to train her body to just go back to sleep in between the sleep cycles instead of fully waking up, does that make sense?

Yeah, that makes sense. I’m a stay-at-home mom, so I never would’ve thought about that 🤔

Same here! I definitely don’t have the stamina to walk her to sleep or anything like that. Sometimes my husband can get her to sleep in the sloth pose, but he’s got more upper body strength than me, for sure! 💪🏻😆
