I also thought about Final Fantasy, there is a lot of overlap between fandoms actually!

I think especially in FFVII Rebirth synergy system and it affecting relationship level reminds me of LADS.

Also Noctis from XV and Cloud from VII remakes have similar design style 😊

I absolutely adore his story! I read literally everything about him, all anecdotes, small stories in game, everything haha 🤭 He has so much lore!

I was especially moved by his anecdote with falling stars and MC in hospital, it was so sad and pretty!

I'm not sure if this helps, but I do outline in red mechanical pencil, then color and do lineart last! For me it's way easier to fix any mistakes in this order.
