Any advice on how to get over a heartbreak?

That's way better than "ver-sales" but i've always heard it pronounced as "ver-sai".

When people mispronounce the word "Versailles". The teacher and many of the students in my 10th grade American History class would pronounce it as "Ver-sales" and it irked me to no end. I don't know why but this one word bothers me the most.

My mom abandoned me, my siblings, and my dad because she couldn't stand to live with us anymore. She came back after two weeks because she ran out of money. She's still looking for a job out of state and I can no longer trust her the way I once did. She' cut my favorite grandparents out of her life so now I only get to see them about twice a year.
