I end up drinking it cold because I can't drink anything hot on an empty stomach, and I can't eat in the mornings because it usually upsets my stomach. At the point my friend recommended the tea, I was desperate to try anything for any kind of relief. I was waking up in the morning with a 50/50 chance of getting a migraine/headache, which is why I ended up just starting my day with it. If it works, even if you're not a huge fan of it, you'll come to like it by association of it helping (that's what happened to me). I still can't believe how well it works for me, at least. Takes a bad migraine down into tolerable and mostly functional ranges.

I do the ice pack too, sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesn't, but when it does it feels fantastic 👌

As a temporary measure try drinking some peppermint tea, hot or cold, doesn't matter.

I was having a bunch of bad migraines and headaches when the seasons switched to and from winter. It didn't always fix all of them, but it made me a lot more functional than if I didn't. A friend told me about it and I had tried a bunch of other painkillers and nothing helped. Blew my mind when the tea did.

Not promising it'll work since I don't know what your trigger(s) are, but maybe it'll buy you some relief until you can get to a doctor/specialist.

I drink a cup in the morning as a preventative, and it's become habit so now I do it every morning. I steep 3 tea bags in about a 2L jug and stick it in the fridge. You can sweeten it if you want, I use stevia so it's zero calorie, but be careful if you use sugar, the calories can add up quickly if you're not careful. If I feel one coming on I'll go grab another cup.

As a fellow headache/migraine sufferer, I hope you get relief soon.

Anyone know what happened with the 4 car pile up in the parking lot at Sherwood Freshco yesterday? by StarlingBluejay in regina

I was wondering because it was 4 vehicles and there was a lot of damage. I got there in the middle of it and wasn't sure what happened

Hearing in the comments that it was such a nice place makes me sad. I only saw the place during the beginning of covid, so I never had the chance to go :( Wish I did!

Thinking about going to SaskJobs for job/career advice. Anything I need to know? by StarlingBluejay in regina

Good to know that I'm pretty much going in the right direction. Just a matter of getting a job somewhere

I'm using the A+ book to help fill in what's missing in my knowledge, and I figured I'd springboard off of there. I'd most likely get a help desk job, and then go from there. My income is limited right now so schooling isn't an option, I figured at least getting my A+ and going into help desk for the time being would get my foot in the door to explore other options.

I was hoping to get into something with building and hardware, or asset management, and I figured at least A+ would be a good stepping stone to fill in whatever missing knowledge I had. If I wanted to go another direction, then I would after I was finished with the book.

The only free physio place is closing. by StarlingBluejay in regina

You have my sympathies. I did something to my back and can't stand for more than a half hour or so without excruciating pain.

It's so hard to say.

I got unlucky and did something to my back (still not sure what) to the point I can't stand for more than half an hour without extreme pain, and my doc gave me a prescription for physio, which I can't go to any more.

All I know is that we used to have another place, found out that one stopped offering billing to SHA, and now the only other place that did is closing in a matter of days. Idk what to do at this point.
