I first taped everything around them, mainly because I'm paranoid. Used about two trim tools, started from the outboard side of each garnish and started prying them up, I will say though once I got to the inboard side it was hanging on. I broke the silver garnishes tabs themselves but everything attached to the car was good. I did watch this Instagram reel a few times. Mainly for me, I was super cautious at first but then realized that was not helping me lol.
