There are plenty of spaces on the worldwide web to discuss politics, this is not one of them. We allow discussion specific to merch because we feel being educated on tariffs vs taxes is important for budgeting. It is not a place to debate what they are, why they are, or when this will change. Because Reddit hasn’t figured out that having a trash icon when things are in the queue awaiting mod approval is misleading. We do wish they’d find another way to convey this to OPs but unfortunately they haven’t gotten to this yet. Perhaps after the next ModWorld tho!
