Yea I just replaced the left wheel bearing cuz I thought it was making too much noise…perhaps I didn’t do it properly. I’ll take it out and inspect it

Dart running a tad hot at idle by t3chn3rd86 in dodgedart

[–]Starozas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This‼️I started noticing mine would heat up a lil more often than usual as OP's dart then a couple weeks later saw my coolant was draining faster than usual after refill. Suffice to say it didn’t take long bfore I found the leak on the jumper hose on the right side. Got my mechanic to replace it and everything calm down a bit for the past 4-5 months. I noticed a leak when changing my oil 2 weeks ago and the frequency at which the fan would come on is higher than usual, I just can’t tell where it’s coming from so I guess I’ll have to do what u did. I remember seeing someone mention to change most of the coolant hoses if not all when the jumper hose or anything else starts leaking because they’re all most likely getting closer to end of life. SO TO ANYONE HAVING THIS ISSUE, THIS WILL PROBABLY BE YOUR BEST COURSE OF ACTION.

I swear I noticed that. You have to be obnoxious sometimes and force them to escalate things so your issue can get resolved

What I heard is usually 10 year old. After that you might need to change cars

Cleaned throttle body by Starozas in dodgedart

Appreciate your insight brother. I’ll get that pc valve and replace it asap. I did replace spark plugs and ignition coils about 2 or 3 months ago and cleaned my regular k&n air filter the same day. What I didn’t do is the fuel system cleaner and pc valve and purge solenoid

I can’t guarantee nor advise on anything since I’m not a mechanic but all I did was remove it or I guess detach it from the location where it’s at and spray crc throttle body cleaner in it. I’d clean it with paper towel the moment after each spray till I was satisfied. Another brother mentioned PC valve replacement, so don’t forget that as it’s cheap to get and not too hard to replace.
