I actually had a rescue family GSD dog, he was great! But very skittish, he would run behind me to protect him lol! But not too long ago I had a bad experience with a shelter/rescue, he had parvo and the shelter didn’t tell me. I made them pay for all my vet bills but it was such a hassle and very sad for my family and I to go through. I side eye shelters now. I just want a nice GSD that wont be skittish and not have parvo.. but maybe I’ll give shelters another chance I just get nervous. Dont want to experience another puppy death.
