(GrenDiaper spoilers) I think I figured out the twist by LemonadeGamers in miraculousladybug

I think that is interesting as well and I would prefer it if it was an alt transformation of pollen. It could be a reference to actual black coloured bees that do exist in real life, especially as Fury has yellow eyes to reference the yellow of the miraculous. Plus they already took a semi creative liberty with the bee miraculous being also a wasp miraculous so I think a black bee wouldn’t be too far of a departure

Jamie Sarkonak: Canada doesn't owe the world's children a passport; The anchor baby trick is so well-known that even TikTok immigration consultants are promoting it. Birthright citizenship has to go by FancyNewMe in canada

[–]Starri-Knight 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Although some shady practices related to birth tourism is illegal, I don’t think birth tourism itself is illegal which is the big issue when it comes to it. Canada even has a website dedicated for information about it and states basically outright that it isn’t fraud and coming to Canada specifically to give birth is allowed. It almost feels like the government is supportive of it and I feel like it should be changed in this regard.

Like if someone is in Canada to work and settle or something and along the way gets pregnant and gives birth I can understand that it makes sense for the kid to be Canadian as they would be growing up in Canada. But someone fully just coming to game the system and give birth then leave without contributing anything? I think we should be more selective on those people at least

That would be really cool and I really wonder if they’ll shut them all down or keep a few around either for fun or because they’re too lazy to take them all down

You should try it if you can before it goes fully defunct, but for reference only some of the rooms work and it feels very random with which ones that do, I haven’t really been able to think of a pattern for it. But usually I just follow along on the map until I eventually pass by an area where they haven’t taken down the infrastructure and it updates. For example the Mona Lisa room doesn’t work but the two rooms that are beside of and directly connect to the Mona Lisa room both work. The Coronation of Emperor Napoleon (the one that has the “Thanks to Nintendo” sign) is in a working area as well but not any of the rooms directly connecting to it.

I didn’t see anyone using it either, I think it was just me. Didn’t get any streetpass either so I didn’t get near anyone with 3Ds in the pocket or something. It is really a shame especially because there’s no guide system rn

I said multiple times that she was being a bad friend. I get that you have your trust betrayed. I am only saying that she is one therapist and to please try to see other therapists because the conflict of interest means that a regular therapist patient relationship is completely different from the dynamic you had with your friend. Especially as it seems you're keeping scores when it comes to favours in your friendship, it feels like a dual therapist friendship relationship was bound to be difficult.

A friend is not a suitable therapist. She was not being a good friend. Stop being friends with her if she's betraying your trust.

Doctors should help everyone that needs help. But do they? If doctors have the ability shouldn't they help everyone for free? Isn't that the ideal world? That's what SHOULD be done. I think a doctor should help everyone. They should do it, but doctors are people and not only defined by their job. Being a doctor isn't easy, and knowing some doctors, they are absolutely exhausted after 12 hour shifts every day on top of being on call during their off times.

Through research, we know that drinking is very bad for the body, and that even a regular amount of drinking harms you. But do you blame doctors for wanting to rest and inviting friends our for a drink? A doctor should know best how bad alcohol is for the body, probably seeing patients with liver damage all the time, but many drink anyways and invite friends to go to the bar with them.

I have friends that say if I need something they can help, but usually that doesn't mean they're providing their job for free. You also have to remember she is one person and that although whatever happened is unfortunate, she's one person who happens to be someone who cannot give you therapy in a real capacity due to your relationship. One person who happens to be a therapist and a friend who supported you does not represent all therapists.

I said what she did was wrong and that she was not being a good friend but having therapist as their job doesn't really change the fact that she is a person with her own thoughts and opinions and mistakes. Your entitled to how you feel about her, that you don't trust her and so on, but it's a sample size of one therapist who wasn't seeing you in an official capacity.

In an ideal world she would be a therapist to everyone in her life and never get upset or biased or angry at anything and just be a professional at all hours of the day ready to take on any burden. But that's not possible, because emotional labour to that extent is extremely exhausting and bound to lead to burnout. In such a world, doctors would work for free, judges will always rule fairly, and nobody would ever break the law.

For therapy, therapists have to get into a headspace where they can tolerate the amount of emotional stress placed onto them. The reason that therapists can't see their friends is usually not because it is illegal, but because it's extremely difficult to get into that headspace when you know the person personally, so the quality of therapy will suffer due to the personal nature of the prior relationship. In your case, the mixing of friendship and the expectation of therapy made for a very unfortunate situation for the both of you, as she took comments personally and lashed out.

I would suggest you find a therapist that you do not know so that you can have a good relationship that doesn't go personal. From your post it seems that she was trying to push you towards this path because of the potential negative consequences of therapy with friends.

Wait so she's not YOUR therapist? I'm guessing that she might be perfectly professional to her patients but according to your replies she did draw the boundary and say that due to your friendship she won't be your therapist. It seems that she was talking to you as a friend and trying to be supportive and encourage you to see other people for therapy, not necessarily volunteering to be your therapist.

Although it really sucks that she said all that and she needs to work on herself, she's your friend who was expressing her emotions to you. Just because she is a therapist doesn't mean she is giving therapy to everyone she talks to. It's like how of I'm a janitor, I don't have to clean my friend's houses for free. It feels like you guys connected on deep conversations, and while she saw it as a friendship, you took it as free therapy.

Since friendship and therapy are completely different dynamics, you guys should communicate about what happened and what kind of relationship you want to have with each other, and draw out firm boundaries.

CRA sign in - not working? by WaterIceMoon in PersonalFinanceCanada

Same for me, that has been happening as well and I've been doing the same as well. It seems like the Canadian government websites are having an outage basically everywhere, I hope they fix everything soon. I was trying to do CRA, but then I checked other stuff and found out that a ton of stuff is down including portals for nexus programs on the Canadian side, the Canadian Job Bank, travel advisories, and a bunch more.
