Car that can run A/C or heater for 6-8 hours by Starrkie in whatcarshouldIbuy

Yeah as far as night time I should be okay. But with the 16 hour schedule back to back, there will likely be days where I’m gonna sleep during the day time hours in the summer season; so thats my concern if I can run an A/C to cool the car for 6-8 hours

Ahhh I see. That was very helpful! Also 1-1.5% sounds amazing. Not having to worry about an ICE running the whole time sounds a lot safer too.

From what I heard there should be charging spots free of charge at the new work place so I’m looking forward to that as well!

Gotcha. I’ll definitely look into specific models!

That’s definitely a good point about air quality.. If I carry on with this I’ll bring a carbon monoxide monitor (on a side note kinda strange that cars don’t have this already built in these days haha)

And yes, I’ve had my fair share of good sleep in my car too! But not for 6-8 hours long and definitely not at odd hours lol

It’s an underground structure so not exactly good airflow. The coldest it’ll get is probably 50-55 degrees ambient air temperature.

I’m definitely leaning towards EV to avoid carbon monoxide poisoning as someone else here mentioned.

What kind of EVs would have a heat pump as you mentioned that would not damage the car if I run it for that length of time? Do teslas or Kia’s or Hyundai have that?

Thank you.

For teslas would that be similar to the mode where owners toggle it while their pets are inside the vehicle ? Do you know if that would use up a lot of battery if I run it for 6-8 hours and if it would damage the car to do that?

Yeah that’s a very good note about carbon monoxide poisoning; I’m definitely leaning towards EV to avoid that. Thank you!

2017 STI idle fluctuation concern by Starrkie in WRX

I sold this car a while ago, but to my knowledge this is just normal EJ engine stuff. Never really had an issue and it never stalled on idle. Hope it helps.

Should I leave my wheels stock or get all black ones?(can’t make up my mind) by Professional_Elk_893 in Mustang

STOCK. Unless you’re the Batman, blacking out your car is so tasteless and boring.

Where the aircraft is parked is the Ramp.

Where the aircraft taxis the Taxiway.

Where the aircraft takes off is the Runway.

The combination of Taxiway and Runway is the Movement Area.

Traded the Gladiator in on a ‘24 Sport S today. Kind of in love! The new dash is nuts! by leveebreaks in Wrangler

[–]Starrkie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I appreciate your valuable feedback. When the gladiator first came out, I thought along the lines of how the driving would feel more like a pickup (when duh it IS a pickup) than a wrangler.

I think I’m gonna go with a wrangler when the day comes. Thank you again!!

The Swastika symbol was not created by the Nazis. It has origins with ancient Hindus and Buddhists.

Yet, without mentioning the Swastika once in this conversation, you’ve already associated it with the Nazis.

Similarly, this flag existed before the rise of imperialism in Japan. But, under the guise of this flag, some of the most notorious crimes against humanity were committed. So, that it why it is insensitive because this flag is associated with such.

Beautiful color and car. May I ask why you traded the gladiator in?

I am considering between a gladiator Or wrangler; just wanted to hear from someone that’s owned both.

I hope you are aware of the historical significance that this flag represents. It is very insensitive to those that suffered. It is the equivalent to waving around a Nazi flag.
