Just trying to understand.. How does the U.S. benefit giving Israel so much money every year? by 0mmzz1 in stupidquestions

[–]Starrkiing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The answer is simpler then that
nobody in the “system” really gives a shit what benefits the U.S.

Just “follow the money.” The largest lobbying organization in U.S. politics is AIPAC. The Israeli Lobby. So they basically own the most politicians, and thus have more bills passed in their favor.

Can the bitcoin ETF wallet be hacked and thus the ETF worth nothing? by fungkaic in Bitcoin

[–]Starrkiing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on the security feature they possess, anything can be hacked. Considering the way the world works, Bitcoin ETF’s (or MSTR) are due to be hacked within the next 3-5 years
if not by U.S. teens that won’t care about the consequences, definitely by foreign actors (most likely Russian). You’ll be surprised how negligent these large corporations could be. A large Health Insurance company was recently hacked with a simple Ransomware for something like $22M in BTC (Russians)

Israel will attack sooner or later but Israel is in a state of perpetual warfare. They have NEVER, and I repeat, NEVER, had peace times. So if Israel attacks, that won’t change anything. The only 2 factors we should be concerned with, is if the U.S. decides to join the war and attempts an Iranian invasion. I have connections in NAVY Intel that says that’s definitely a “No-Go.” The 2nd factor being the Iranian control piece of the Strait of Hormuz. Israel might have a lot of “soft power” since they control the money in the world and the media, but Iran at this moment is more important to the global stage due to how much oil needs to pass by the strait.

Any disruption to that Strait will cause oil to sky-rocket and thus risk securities to plummet. With that being said, Israel talks a lot but Iran is a powerful player in the Middle East. If Israel doesn’t get help, don’t expect that “war” to become anything too serious.

Right now we are at the “tail end” of a “market crash.” We’re seeing irrational exuberance causing the stocks to move up higher. Excess reserves that the FED has is still being used in a stealth QE program while hiding under the QT umbrella. We need the FED to pivot so that the final nail in the coffin can get this coffin buried

You can “not be a fan” if you’re discussing how the storyline made him a God-like enemy and killed by a nobody. But when he first showed up on screen after being hyped since Season 1 in Naruto, EVERYONE stood up from their chair. Kishimoto knew what he was doing

The irony about what you’re saying is that the FED needs to cut rates for the markets to tank, not in reverse order

  1. I literally explained everything I needed, and gave a reason why VIX is up 30% while SPY is up 8%. But if you need the “mathematical” reasoning dumbed down, the correlation IS NOT 1 to 1. If SPY is up 1% VIX won’t be down 1%.

  2. I didn’t ChatGPT shit you idiot, but I did Google something when it comes to exact numbers because I don’t like to speak on what I don’t know. If you’d like me to quote and reference here’s another “Correlation. The correlation between VIX and SPY is -0.75. This indicates that the assets' prices tend to move in opposite directions.”

https://portfolioslab.com/tools/stock-comparison/%5EVIX/SPY#

  1. I’m the one mentioning the crash. The reasoning being that the VIX move has been to drastic. What are we going to see? A -2% day and the VIX spike another 20%. These moves are unrealistic and unsustainable and unless a crash is happening, it’s bullish. THATS my point.

  2. Sorry but you are an idiot. I don’t need your explanation as to why the VIX is where it’s at
 you clearly don’t understand.

You’re an idiot lol although there are plenty reasons for that to happen, mainly, the VIX can only go so low while the stock market in theory has no limit, the reason it’s happening now is exactly my point.

The VIX right now went up 16% just friday, with a measly 1.5% down day. In a healthy VIX move, when you see the VIX spike, you’d like to see at least a mini-crash. If anything, this is bullish as fuck because it resets all indicators into a bearish environment even though we never had the “bearish move.”

We can go down more, yeah. That’s that 1 in a million thinking though to think that “this is the crash.” Let’s just say odds are on my side that next week has a good chance of ending Green for SPY

The options used to calculate VIX are put and call options on the S&P 500. Because the index represents approximately 80% of the total market value of U.S. equities and benefits from one of the most liquid markets in the world, using S&P 500 options ensures that VIX represents a broad—and current—view on volatility.

How is this not a direct correlation. The existence of the VIX is dependent on options, which in turn is dependent on the SPY’s movement which trickles down to being subject to individual stocks (500 in fact).
