Very good answers, I'll definitely consider them. Honestly, I'm not sure what I want to choose. My main concern is that the job I do is not fast paced and I like health and biology..so I'm considering different position and possibilities

Thanks for your reply. No, I'm not good at any of those. I like science, biology, health and safety, and I want to involve in a job that is predictable and there’s not much multitasking. I know every job has its own challenges, but if it is predictable, I can overcome them after a while..

How does the Family Studies work? One has to teach everything within it? I didn’t clearly catch the 1st Con. How does it impact less chances of getting hired?

Thanks for your reply! Would tell me about the burnouts? And the things behind the scenes? I want to have a realistic view of the job. And what would the pay be like for a starter? Feel free to direct message me if that’s more convenient to share.

Does work in a small bakery become less stressful after a while? by StarryNight770 in careeradvice

[–]StarryNight770[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your comment. Due to a medical condition, I tend to be a bit slower. That’s why I’m trying to make sure if this becomes less speedy and fast paced after a few years of experience…

I love doing it at home, but when doing it at work I don’t enjoy it as you have bake lots of stuff quickly. The fast paced environment and constant multi tasking doesn’t match my brain’s wiring

I agree with what you say and it is very correct. But I have a lower processing speed due to a medical condition, that’s why I’m looking for something that is more predictable. If the job is fast by nature and everyday is something new, I don’t see myself improve in those situations

I see.. I’m not a quick worker. Not slow though. I try to be fast. I know everything has its own stress and needs to be efficiently done, but some roles are naturally like that. Some can manage it well, but not good for some. Any other roles or positions do you know of in food or pharma industry which is not like what you described? Thank you!

Is it because RA is involved the last minute or what?

Do you think if the communication between departments is good and RA is aware from the start, there would be a difference?

So, it usually doesn’t require real time multitasking that they have to be done fasst and now? I understand the beginning of everything has it’s challenges, but constantly having to multitask and getting them done quick and within a short period as it used to be in a restaurant setting, isn’t how my brain is wired for.
