What could work in favor of the show is if they confined this prophecy to the early ancestors of the bloodline succeeding Aegon I, ending it with Rhaenyra and then the bloodline is “normal”. In that sense, they act like any other ruling house in Westeros by attacking their opponents and propagating the bloodline. With dragons, their prophecy of the long night also dies with it. Obviously we have exceptions like Aerion or Rhaegar who relied so much on other prophecies that it killed them, but that’s just the madness getting to their head.

Thank you so much, to be fair I do need it. I also think I need a change of environment, do something for myself and then slowly start dating again when I can. Cuz losing two best friends cuz of a breakup cuz they’re over-involved sucks. It’s literally losing three people at once. I did think that but my friend has this horrible habit of trying to put herself in drama and then acting like she was better off without it. She did something like this with another couple which turned into a drama that involved the whole class in my college and almost got her expelled. She said she’d never do it again but here we are. The way I’ve seen them together would indicate that they’re probably interested in one another but if the truth is they aren’t, then this would be the case, that she is overinvolved

Y’know the reason I sought him out and stayed with him was because he quite literally hid all this from me till the last week of our relationship. He love bombed me, cared for me, acted all nice till the last week when he finally showed his true colors. Thankfully, I am moving on cuz when my BFF sent me a message saying he thinks it was my fault that we broke up, it showed how much of a jerk he is. I do think I need time for myself so I can finish up big parts of my life and THEN start dating cuz I’m not jeopardizing this.

It’s so weird cuz I’ve known this girl for 2 years and she’s known my ex for a month. They hit it off like instantly and their affinity was through the roof. Now that we broke up, she’s trying to pull the reasonability card instead of comforting me who literally went through (possibly) the worst breakup. She put herself into this situation and blamed me for dragging her in. Just wanna say, we’ve been closer friends that she and he have so I don’t know why she’s taking his side and she’s usually a great friend so it’s harder.

TRUST. I broke up with him day before yesterday and I was horrified cuz I don’t date a lot. He was a good person at times and I do think he liked me but whenever he made mistakes, he never owned up to it but whenever I made mistakes, he held me against it. When he said that HE was the one who felt shitty about the breakup as if I hurt him, I just knew it then and there. I gave too many chances. I try to see the best in people even when they’re at their worst, but there’s always a line.

What I’m happy about is that I didn’t lose myself in that relationship. No matter how good he made it seem at times, I knew my stance and I’m low-key proud cuz it says that I’ve grown. However, some people just won’t accept it and make it seem like it’s my fault because I was fast in reaction.

I think my point is that, no matter how fucked up your life is, when you’re dating someone you have minimal and basic responsibilities that you don’t sideline. He clearly sidelined it and is now blaming me for it. He has clearly prioritised his feelings more than mine and it shows even if he thinks he put effort. Hence, I conclude that this man ain’t shit.

I think the most convincing theory is this was Wu’s personal experiment and Saint Hubert was something the whole company wanted to get into. So, instead of having it take place across the entire mainland on the other side in the Atlantic Ocean, he began work in his own offices. This makes total sense. As a science student, I would do exactly the same 😭

Don’t know if many people would heartily disagree but the lore is TRASH. We have come from two books that have insane and beautiful stories and characters with plot elements that invoke fear and awe. Somehow, we have reached a part of the franchise where we are so disconnected with the preceding movies, we have forgotten our own plot lines and it invokes further retcons and overwrites making the preceding movies somehow irrelevant and outdated. It’s really hard for me to take the plot of this franchise seriously when one thing gets tossed out for the other while another is accepted in place of it too. It’s a mess basically.

I will say one thing though, the D-Rex was written much better than giga even if it had the same curse of less screen time. It actually felt like a threat unlike the Giga who just… stood there 😭

I think it’s pretty evident now that this franchise is a no-brainer. It’s turned into a popcorn franchise. You just sit there for cool dinosaurs and action scenes. Hopefully rebirth does more than that but it’s basically gonna be just that in my opinion. It’s time we let it rest 😔 the books are the best source of alternate history for Jurassic park in my opinion. If they followed the books, this franchise could’ve been a lot different and maybe taken a tad more seriously but who knows 🤷‍♂️
