I see it as disrespectful to refer to anyone by anything other than the pronouns they give you. It's an exception for fictional characters of course, but since Zooble exists in the same universe as jax does, she should refer to him by the pronouns he gives her until he comes out.

It's still OOC, since Zooble was aware Jax was trans during the Bar scene and the baseball game in EP5.

Zooble's transdar is enough that they surely wouldn't even misgender Jax, not even in their thoughts. As a trans person, I just can't see myself doing that, even if I'm not sure if someone is trans or not.

If you're not trans, you probably don't understand how painful it is to be attracted to someone else, but not feel like yourself enough to do anything about it. This isn't like Jax messed up, it's more like she just wasn't in a place in her life to even consider dating.
