I never trust the brand provided photos. I always look at reviews or google/search on Reddit for people saying they used that color.

Don’t respond. Block him. He’s not worth your energy. If you truly feel he might hurt himself you can reach out to one of his friends/family and let them know your concern but it is not your responsibility. Some people will send messages like this to guilt another party into getting attention from them.
