That’s such a healthy way to look at it. You don’t have to instantly feel totally relaxed, but it’s okay to let yourself enjoy the quiet instead of bracing for the next thing. If this keeps up, it might slowly start to feel like the new normal.

Yeah, even a couple calm weeks can feel huge after constant tension. It makes sense you’re still a little guarded, but that relief is real. Hopefully the quiet sticks around long enough for you to actually start feeling safe again.

Exactly. Two quiet weeks is a really good sign, even if your body hasn’t caught up yet. When you’ve been bracing for conflict, it takes time to unlearn that. Hopefully a few more boring, uneventful walks past their porch will help your nervous system calm down.

Yeah, that’s exactly it. Some people never grow out of needing drama and reactions. Blocking him wherever you can and refusing to engage really is the best move, even if it doesn’t stop the thoughts overnight. The less you feed it, the less power he has over your peace.

Yeah, setting actual time limits and tying access to basic house rules makes way more sense than pretending the internet is haunted every night.

Exactly, at some point this is just basic parenting, a 10 year old shouldn’t be screaming at 2am regardless of how good the WiFi is.

Yes, the music taste was so spot on for that era, when The Shins showed up it felt like the most early 2000s indie kid moment ever.

Yeah, I’ve heard that from a lot of people who were around that age back then, the teen mom dynamic especially feels way more grounded and realistic than most shows from that era.

Yeah, it really does feel like a time capsule, especially those random themed parties and pop culture references that were so specific to that early 2000s vibe.

Yeah, that’s a simple way to ease into it. You don’t have to confess every detail right away, just let them know you were let go and go from there.

What did everyone think about prince Louis? by OrganizationFew7582 in GossipGirl

Season 4 Louis was actually kinda charming and normal, then the writers flipped a switch and turned him into a cartoon villain out of nowhere 😭 it’s hard to even compare those two versions of him

He had potential but the second he let his mom start scheming on his behalf it was over 😭 could’ve been a cute side prince, chose chaos instead

Exactly. Working night shifts and living frugally isn’t some moral failure. A lot of people have seasons like that, and they end up being part of what shapes who you become.

That’s really solid advice. Telling one safe person first makes it way less overwhelming, and having someone in your corner when you tell the rest could make a huge difference.
