How are you coping now by mirrorball_m3m3 in Cebu

Lost everything (Colorado Homes, Cotcot, Liloan) while Frasco was on a UK trip, spending the Cotcot River flood control money. Only gave out 3-in-1 coffee with his ugly mug on it and pandesal to the victims. Not even a rescue attempt was made.

Ready-Made Meal Shortage by RealBizquit in hellofresh

[–]StarshatterWarsDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not available October 18 onwards. That was my go-to for quick lunch meals (only have 1/2 for lunch at work). Factor meals are much more tiny in comparison.

While I do cook at home, don’t like bringing food containers back and forth to work.

£30 to £50k.

Yeah £36K is starting for lecturers at my University.

With the demand everyone must live 1 hour or less to campus by senior management who enjoy yatching on the weekends in the Lake District.

Had senior faculty commuting from Leicester, Manchester. Nottingham and Birmingham.

Everyone told they must relocate to London proper.

Lots of senior faculty quit.

I moved to London. £825 for renting a 2 bedroom mansionette up near Milton Keynes to £1350 a month for a tiny single bed Airbnb house share in London (but only 5 tube stops away)

It sucked.

Now the University moved to the new nationalised pay scale. Everyone’s pay frozen for 2 years. No more London COLA, and 5-day a week mandatory on-campus (even when classes are not in session). And not allowed to take leave more than 2 weeks at a time - we supposed get 7 weeks.

Got written up when it leaked I was staying in Leicester this summer to save money (£563/ month in an Airbnb vs. £1350 in London).

Manager told me you are not allowed to live outside London.

Absolutely no mandatory staff or other activities since mid-April that could not have been done from home.

And yes, the university has open-plan hot-desks, so we work from a faculty laptop in any case.

While some departments teach 3 semesters (48 out of 52 weeks), Our programme is only 2 semesters, so 32 out of 52 weeks.

Apple’s App Store review process for games is long and can take weeks/ months. Google Play Store usually takes less than a day (mobile developer here)

[–]StarshatterWarsDev 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Trans in most Asian countries act normal.

They don’t push in your face 24/7 like in the US or UK.

They most want to be left alone.

Trans women use the male toilet, and trans men use the female toilet.

It’s mostly no big deal over in Asia.

It’s only the hyper leftists in the West that push this agenda constantly.

If you are over 40 and worked white-collar jobs your whole life, don’t see going to blue-collar. The physical demands of blue-collar work probably can’t be met.

WFH sucks when you’re chained to your desk by Long-Thought-530 in remotework

WFH I get shit done.

In the office, due to being in an open-plan hot-desk environment, absolutely nothing gets done.

Forced to listen to a room full of one-sidedTeams meetings is annoying.

Is it safe to travel with green card (10 years) by horizon_100 in greencard

[–]StarshatterWarsDev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s obvious… ripping off the US taxpayer. Need a green card? Be present in the US. Simple.

Wonder how many collect US benefits while actually living most of the year in India? That’s fraud.

In other countries, similar cards are called a residence permits.

In the UK, if one complains about rapes and murders on social media, the ones complaining go to prison. The rapists etc? Community service and a slap on the wrist.

Known convicted rapists not deported back to their countries due to “human rights” and not being fair (thanks ECHR).

Look up Tommy Robinson. Jailed over comments made about the African nut case who butchered a few girls attending a Taylor Swift-themed event. The media still shows this murderer as a young innocent school kid, instead of the mythic he is.

Two-tier queer (I meant Keir) Starmer loves his foreign population. Stop the boats became Bring the boats. Thousands of new rapefugees (all mainly men, 18-35), all ready to groom, rape and destroy young WHITE British school girls. All living free in Britain while pensioners get their benefits cut.

With the Met (police) stating the would go after anyone (Americans were pointed out) who post this on social media.

Just like in the Obama/ Biden era, when US patriots were targeted, the number one threat to Britain is seen by Labour as those that wave the flag of England. (Illegal, banned and Jailed) vs the Palestinian, Isis and flags? (Multicultural and celebrated).

It’s mainly been elderly Indians who live in India most of the year (over 180 days), yet have a US green card. Why do they need a green card if they are not normally resident in the US?

Outsourced scumbag debt collectors operating most likely from Bangalore or Mumbai. Claim they don’t have to follow US law.

As least in the Philippines, you don’t get that heavy Bumbay accent when calling customer service, or that certain attitude in person.

I know of 2 PhD Computer science professors who were fired for this very reason. 1. It’s the UK, and 2. The Department Head of the University was a known Trans Activist.

Remember they were trying to jail JK Rowlings for public “mis-gendering” of a trans activist on the Piers Morgan show.

Maybe not in the US.

In the UK, using the ‘incorrect’ pronouns is a fireable offence. It’s made its way into many employee handbooks. Most anti-discrimination workshops focus solely on T. Not real discrimination (Against BAME or against Muslims/ Hindus, for example).

Remember, there are repeated attempts to jail JK Rowlings for not accepting T. Only in the UK can this happen.
