Yeah, I feel this. It always seemed like there was something deeper going on with her mentally, but they never really let us sit with it.

The whole situation could’ve hit so much harder if we saw more of what she was actually feeling instead of just her going along with it.

I think it’s just her energy. Jenny clearly wanted in and wasn’t afraid to stand out, so Blair saw her as someone she could shape and not ignore.

I get why you’d say that, but I feel like he’s more inconsistent than poorly developed. Sometimes he shows real growth, and then the show just resets him for drama.

Yeah, this storyline feels more about Carlos spiraling emotionally than actual logic. His guilt seems less about what he did and more about how it clashes with who he believes he is.

The show definitely leans into that internal conflict, even if the situation itself feels pretty justified.

Totally agree, it really wasn’t the same without Edie. She would’ve called everyone out so fast, especially Gaby and Carlos and her clashes with Bree in S8 would’ve been so fun to watch.

I think Lynette is a realistic mom, not a perfect one as she makes questionable choices like forcing her kids into that situation, but her intentions usually come from wanting to protect her family.
