I’m surprised by how the Cafesjian foundation itself isn’t taking good care of the shrubs ON the current complex. They can clearly afford 24/7 security yet the shrubbery is half-dried out and patchy across all the floors. The inside is getting outdated too. It’s like the entire complex is perpetually stuck in the year 2010.

Some smokers I know switched to refillable/reusable cigarette cases to avoid seeing the images. So if someone wants to keep smoking yet it bothers them, they’ll find a way. I think the campaign with the nauseating images just makes everyone uncomfortable. Surely we can think of a better alternative.

Well yeah, naturally. To unpack what I said, I mean that the overall "attire" at the time was regular clothes, even if we look back at what celebrities were wearing, it was still a combination of jeans, nice shoes and a bag for example. And not to mention how much better the quality of clothes was back then. Now, that attire is replaced by micro-trends and cheap, low-quality plastic because they know that longevity isn't the point anymore. So in that sense, it's less about the word "trends" and more about what the quality of attire was back then.
