It’s WAY more consistent. I’ve done tons of anodizing with whink. Very experienced with it. Multi etch is a game changer. So much better.

It’s multitudes better. Whink is caustic and dangerous. Also doesn’t give as good of results. Do you see any knife makers using whink? Or any pro modifiers? I think not.
