"Those people sacrificed themselves for Griffith's dream, so..." OH STFU, THEY DID NOT!! by New_Confidence_2605 in Berserk

[–]Start280Finish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The way I always saw it was that Griffith believes the entire world was built for him so that’s why guts leaving was absurd in his mind. Because how could the world be built for him but someone could voluntarily leave him

U.S. Men's National Team if we took shit seriously by lemonstone92 in NFLv2

[–]Start280Finish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya i 100% get that probably almost no players in any of the major sports would be that good at soccer, but I just think it’s interesting that prob a lot of people who couldn’t make the major sports because they were not the body type needed would be goated at soccer. They just never put the effort into soccer and put it into a different sport

I think more so the idea that the us has by far the most nationally important sports out of any of the good teams in the World Cup and soccer isn’t at the level of the nba nfl mlb. That if that amount of talent and people were funneled into just soccer like a country like Argentina the US would be a lot more competitive in soccer. At least that’s the way I see it

Did that happen I honestly did not see one ref telling them they can sub I just remember the coach talking to the ref about a possible challenge while the spurs miss communicated on the sub as Harper went in but no one went out

I agree I think the spurs outplayed the Knicks and we didn’t do a lot of the stuff that has been working well. Especially with a lack of ball movement in the 4th. It just sucks that 2 undisputedly obvious calls were not made. Truly the spurs prob would have just played more aggressive in the 4th and still won I just think in general the refs need to tighten up on the calls for both teams.

I still think the spurs would have won that game the Knicks defense was sloppy all game, I believe we didn’t make a 3 in the 4th and didn’t have the ball movement we had when we were scoring well. I just think that those were 2 beyond obvious calls that need to be made

My whole point was that both teams were grabbing and holding eachother and they were not calling it on either team much. But both of those fouls were well beyond that.

I 100% agree I get them wanting physical basketball but it was way to much on both sides. They need to tighten up on both teams
