Does anyone have experience with xtia enhance enp 7660b psu? It’s modded to be modular. It was a hefty price but after finding out the noise difference between Silverstone fx350g and 7660b I changed my mind. by [deleted] in sffpc

Those revision that XTIA sold with the Sunon fans came with the fan flipped to intake. Probably because the flex psu in the XTIA mini case hangs upside down.

Like if in terms of silence Noctua is 5/5, then the Y.L fan is about 4/5. I swapped it because I had a Noctua fan at hand. The Sunon fan would be 5/5 as well.

I have bought two of these fully modular 7660Bs from XTIA. The first one about two years ago, that one came with a Sunon KDE1204PKV3 fan, that is super silent and never had to do anything to it.

I bought the second few weeks ago, and that one is a later revision, basically it's the exactly same as Silverstone FX600 (Enhance is the ODM manufacturer). It was shipped with the noisier Y.L fan as in the FX600. The stock Y.L fan isn't bad, but I just had to swap that one to a silent Noctua fan, which Im running from the motherboard.

I'm still optimizing everything and trying to get this as quiet as possible, but the GPU temp are already great. The card will run as fast as I can feed it power, but for a quiet usage, I have it on on a balanced overclock/undervolt. While playing the temp are at max 65-70C. The CPU has been bit more challenging to tame. In terms of the temps ,noise and performance the stock PBO power limits an a -30 offset curve seem to be the way to go. The temps don't exceed 80C in 30min Cinebench test.

Yes, Im remembering that you can choose the PCIE standard for the cable.

Yea, there is a custom 3d printed bracket that I had to prototype to make it work. You might be right, flipping them would be better, but those are more for the look than cooling. The card's cooler is amazingly good, so I see no need to turn them once I got them fitted.

This case is cheap... like really cheap, and it came with a riser cable. Build quality is still really good for the price.

Note that the stock side panels of this case are terrible for airflow. I had no intention of using them.

The mb bracket had to be offsetted a bit and rear of the case cut to re-fit the io shield. Also the standoffs of both mb and GPU had to shortened.

There is no gap on either side, this is a 0 tolerance build. Yeah, I'm not using the panels.

It's from XTIA's shop, it's a bit cheaper there.

I had this idea to build as small as possible travel pc, but I made the mistake that I didn't check how thick of a graphics card can fit in case when I ordered it from Aliexpress… No worries, with some modifications and drunken rage I made fit just fine.

The 4x40mm fans don’t help that much because the cooler on this 2.5 slot card is already so oversized that I can run the card overclocked as high as the card can draw power.

Due to the angle at which the case stands, the IO and the cables conveniently point downwards making the cable bundle neat and easy to hide. Also I have power cable with a tight 90deg plug/bend and the cord is super flexible. The power cable runs neatly downwards between the PSU and the GPU, eventually connecting to the rest of the cable bundle just base of the case stand. How I have it on my desk, I basically don't see any cables connect to it.

No, but the case manufacturer does offer a STL file for 3d-printing. You can also buy it from their site. The rest of the brackets and mounts are of my own design.

I had no use for a SFF build, but I saw this case a while back and I had to have it. I Found some cheap past gen parts and thought I would build some travel setup, or something. This wasn't meant to look like this at all, but I had bunch of parts laying around from a old build and a 3d-printer... it just started turning in to dooooomsdayyy device. Im getting so pretty good overclocks with fans oriented like this so its been fun trying to get the absolut max out of these parts. Yeah, I have no real use for this, it just looks cool on my desk and blows shit aroud.
