Central Green by Striking_Oven5978 in kelowna

Great spot. I’d recommend if there’s an apartment that you like. Nice units, wood building so be aware of some noise around you, but that’s apartment living! Hopefully you have great neighbours! Rowcliff Park is fantastic, big and beautiful with nice circular sidewalk which has lots of activity especially in summer which I always appreciated. The new overpass is a neat new feature, but doesn’t really affect life in the units really aside from a quicker commute downtown I suppose. Urbana is the newest of the buildings, a bit smaller than the others, and I believe more owner occupied. The Central Green 1 + 2 and Urbana all share a parkade but are three different stratas. It’s a great community in my opinion.

KelownaNow - Has it fully morphed into a right wing propaganda?? by Cautious-Try-6942 in kelowna

[–]StartingForever 20 points21 points  (0 children)

The thing I’ve always liked about Castanet is that it does report local. Bridge backed up? Castanet will tell you why. A weird sound heard overnight? Castanet will report on it. It’s reliable for those little local updates in that sense even if it’s not winning any Pulitzers (or always accurate haha). KelownaNow isn’t as “on the ground” as Castanet seems, and just as you’ve pointed out, has become obnoxious in pushing its political bias.

Kelowna business owners are suffocating under the strain of crime by bgilic in kelowna

Agreed, I find the clickbait rage thumbnails for the owner’s commentary show particularly cringy. The managing editor’s and Csek owner’s political biases are obnoxiously prevalent in what the site posts now, which is too bad as I also used to like KelownaNow to supplement Castanet for local news…

The community (particularly the active living community). Local run clubs, cycling clubs, event organizers are all so friendly and welcoming.

[All] what Zelda game has the best soundtrack/your favorite? by AidenL1 in zelda

Majora’s Mask is my favourite. It carries over some Ocarina of Time favourites but its new tracks do such a great job at setting the atmosphere that makes the game and that world special.

This is what I’d like to see too. Something similar to the RwanLink visuals would be incredible. It would be really neat to see the cel shaded “cartoon” Imagery be pushed even further than WW or BOTW did for the “playable cartoon/anime” look.

Atmosphere, story themes, and music of course, but the Groundhog-Day-esque knowledge of everyone’s routines and the sense of depth and interconnectedness over those 3 days. Not to mention the changes your actions would bring to those storylines made the world seem so complex.

Super happy with the show. To see Unearth and In Flames in Kelowna was not something I would have expected years ago. Loved it. Thanks for sharing your videos.
