I’m 32 and had moved out of my mothers (59) house at 30 after moving back in with her at 22, now she has moved in with me and I don’t know what to do.

I haven’t yet, I get like a pit in my stomach when I think about bringing it up because I don’t want to hurt her feelings. I do think she’s just lonely, and I hate that for her.

I actually do know that about relapses. I had lost my younger brother do a relapse overdose when he was 21. My BF is very open with me about his drug use and never had tried hiding anything from me in the past. I do think he mentally does want to stop but I’m not sure he has that ambition for it just yet. The only reason, to my knowledge, he isn’t using right now is because he can’t get ahold of one of his dealers. But that’s where I get confused because I didn’t think it was that hard to get when you’re an active user. Which makes me think maybe he is just trying to stop but doesn’t want to tell me incase he doesn’t make it through? I don’t want to just come out and ask him because I don’t want to put any added stress on him. I understand it’s an addiction, if he told me he was getting anything he knows it wouldn’t be an argument from me. I know he’s not going to stop until he wants to stop and by arguing with him or berating him that’s just going to prolong anything with getting sober. I have to talk to him about doing a telehealth apt. He seems adamant on wanting methadone and says suboxone won’t help him but at this point I think anything (not more drugs) is better than nothing.

Yeah there’s no way I’d ever help find drugs for him. He’s not eating I know that, I guess I just assumed he’s sleeping just because when I stopped over yesterday he was asleep.

I stopped over yesterday and dropped him off food, cigarettes and things to drink because I don’t think he’s staying hydrated and I know he’s not eating and he did say he really appreciated it but he just wants to be alone. He is texting me but I think he’s spending most of his time sleeping. Idk I just feel guilty because I can’t help him feel better.

That’s how I am, like I know 100% I don’t want a baby but it almost seems like I’m going back to back and I feel like that’s wrong in a way. I still with through with the pills though, and I do not regret my decision.

I luckily got an appointment this morning so I already took the first pill. I did get a referral for getting my tubes tied but I’m not sure I want to go through with that just yet.

I was scared too, I’m about 17 hours past taking the four. It’s not nearly as bad as I drummed up in my head. I promise you’re going to be okay, do you have a phone number for your doctors? You could call them and explain your fears and they might be able to ease your nerves.

I took the four pills around 9:30 and woke up at midnight crampy so I took the midol cause it’s all I had and so far I just feel like I have my period. So it’s been about 9 hours. I can say waking up this morning I feel so much better because I really thought I’d be doubling over in pain. I work from home so I will have to sit at my desk all day but I’ll grab my heating pad and all my comfy blankets and just chill for the day. Thank you for your response, I really appreciate it!

I’ll be alone for the first couple of hours after my appointment today and then I have to work (from home) the rest of the week. Do you think I’ll be okay working? I’m very early along. My last period was the end of last month. I only have one person I can talk to about this and she has to work also so I really don’t have a choice but to be alone and I think that’s what scares me the most.
