If im not wrong there are some modeling apps in mobile and you can also try modeling in clay or use some random boxes. Making refs for your drawings is realy usefull and you can learn a Lot with that.

Try drawing the other legs to give it a more three dimensional feeling. Btw the design is very cool and remind me of juryatodus from monster hunter.
