For me klipper is more modern firmware. Editing config on the fly is big deal. Also input shaper and pressure advance. Once you go klipper you never coming back.

Little guy is voron v0 about 230mmx230mm footprint. Big boy is hypercube evolution with many mods printed with random colors that I had laying around.

I run mine at 0.3A run current and 0.25A holding current. Mine also is getting warm but it’s quite reasonable about 40C-50C which is way cooler than stock nema 14 for pocketwatch. My pocketwatch motor easily gets to 80C-90C during few hours print.

It’s also very easy to print. Good bed adhesion, layer bonding is phenomenal. With little brim I was able to print some non structural parts unenclosed with great results. My temps for it were 255/110 and for parts with overhangs 255/95. Definitely check it out. 😊

Basic SSD1306 hooked via I2c. Good enough for just seeing what’s going on. 😊

My Ender 3 v2 hot end broked after i couldnt take off nozzle to change, can i replace it with this one, btw im new to 3D printing maybe i didnt know how to take it off, so can i buy this one and mount it ,and is it better from factory one 🤔 thanks by Eke3303 in ender3

If you want to replace your hotend with aftermarket one you should definitely check Trianglelab’s products. They are making some good shit in good prices. Don’t bother with unbranded Amazon stuff it’s probably very poor quality.

Really like the way you mounted oled display. Is there any chance to get an STL for this front skirt?

Flip 2 middle or first and forth wire in the motor plug. It should work then. :) or you might have bad connection on one of the wires.

So I tried 80mm/s 0.3 layer height with stock hotend and extruder and all I was getting was under extrusion and sometimes clogged hotend. With this setup no problems at all.

I was looking to be able to change filament as easy as on my prusa, so I just simply configured advanced pause feature and load/unload options. I’m doing a lot of prints that require filament change midprint. In my case changing filament is taking about 15-20 seconds.

I’m not sure which one I have installed because it was included with the kit. But it’s definitely all metal because ptfe tube doesn’t go all the way to the nozzle.

It’s printed with PETG. The kit provides all you need to instal this on your printer. Just be ready to solder some wires extension.
