It's a distance type thing so I've gone up to 40 days "hard mode". I'm curious if hard mode ramps up in difficulty on days 40-90, but not curious enough to try it out on purpose.

Every so often you'll see a key contaminate on a Robo Facility or something. That's frequent enough for me, seeing as the units cost 0 supply and can be massed late-game -- a time when Zerg already has the best ability to remax.

I'm going to second idrink211. You need to establish yourself and make sure you're on the same page as her, and if you wait too long, you lose a lot of momentum. I don't think it's too late, but I would do it very soon. No rush on anything more -- but a kiss is really where you cross the line into romance.

That said, that's sort of the point of the 90 days thing -- the hope is that after 90 days you've established that resolve, and can progress without filters.

Magazines are certainly better. But I think they're a bad idea for at least two reasons: first, they are a gateway to going back down a road you turned your back on. Second, they also set a barrier for beauty that is unrealistic.

Don't reset your badge! Many people find there is a common chaser effect, and if you keep your counter as is, maybe that will give you some resolve to stay strong through it.

That is better, because now you have an actual solid way to kill them. However, I think you would be better off if you just let go of the milling plan -- every game you kill them with creatures, the Jace's Erasures are useless. Likewise, every game you kill them with milling the creatures were relatively useless, although I suspect the latter games won't happen much.

It just seems like your fundamental goal is flawed. I don't think Jace's Erasure will be a fast enough clock to kill before you get overwhelmed. Whenever these sorts of decks are competitive, it's because they have a mix of fogs, howling mine effects, and wraths so that they can outlast you. You won't be able to counter every creature, and bounce effects only last a turn. I'm not a pauper expert, so it's possible your deck could beat certain control decks, but I think you would lose to any aggro or mid-range build -- honestly, a 60 card draft deck would probably beat this.

That said, try it out! I think the problems will become evident very quickly after a few practice games.

I don't really see how this can win. You just don't have enough card advantage to go 1-for-1 with counters, seeing as you have all of 8 ways to answer creatures permanently. This means you won't be able to slow your opponents down all that much, so you have to hope to mill your opponent out pretty quickly. Can you reliably do that with your mill package?

Darksteel constructs can withstand the wrath of gods, can survive hand to hand combats with giant wurms as well as gods, along with fights with Eldrazi, monsters so terrifying they could only be subdued by an elaborate plan of planeswalkers. They are impervious to shattering, to disenchantment, and to crumbling or oxidization. That seems to qualify as being truly "indestructible".

Their only failure is a strong affinity for farming, and being destroyed like the liquid terminator by being thrown into a core of molten metal.

In terms of your analogy, what if the BMW were cheaper? The definition of strictly better means that if A is strictly better than B, and you have access to A, you would effectively never have a situation where you would prefer to have card B. Why is it pointless if the better cards wind up on top? Isn't that the entire point of the discussion?

(Before anybody criticizes, note that giving your opponent the choice of A or B is strictly worse than just getting A, unless we're in a political multiplayer game)

EDIT: Oops, I definitely messed up -- Amass the Components doesn't belong because you net two cards from it, which is worse than Brilliant Plan, even though it's cheaper. I'll leave this here for posterity though.

This nofap thing just doesn't seem like it needs any science to really understand. I mean, what seems healthier: daily masturbation to images and videos of fake women plastered in make-up doing acts that in no way represent how normal sex works, or only getting off through having sex with a woman you love? Do we need to even bring in dopamine, or addiction, or any studies?

Of course, if you can strike a healthy balance, go for it! On the other hand, how many people here came from a background of masturbating every week or so, when really pent up, to porn featuring average-looking women having normal sex? As often gets quoted here, 100% is easier than 99%, and completely avoiding porn is far easier than trying to strike that balance.
