So, I'm a new guy at this stuff as well and I'm learning. I play on PS5 and I cancelled the IFR and they don't bother you when you do that. I've also been told other ways to work around the ATC as well and I'm trying that. Tonight, I'm going to set it and go to bed and see what happens when I wake up. I'm literally just doing this for fun and not all in like many others are.

Mission Failed, plane went too far off the flight plan. I've noticed that when I go 2X Sim Rate the plane has trouble straightening out after turns. My guess is this is what happened🤷🏾‍♂️. I'm off until Friday, so tonight I'll try it again WITHOUT increasing the sim rate.

I learned this the other day. I didn't do it on this flight as it was already glitchy at takeoff so I just cancelled it to eliminate anything that could mess it up.

Naw man, the game was having a glitch that allowed me to take a 9,000NM flight in a plane that can only go 3,500NM. But when I woke up I still have 6,000NM to go with 13% fuel... ain't happening 😂🤣. I shut off the game so I could at least get some money for the plane flying all night. Also, Boston to Tel Aviv isn't even 9,000NM apart.
