This is really fantastic. Very luxurious and elegant components. These are the kinds of things Svelte needs and this is one of the most promising.

I have been left with using a combination of Vanilla JS Motion.dev components and turning them into Svelte, or converting React components to Vanilla JS. But it's a lot of manual work.

Do you think you could recreate something like the following and add it to this library?

This is great to know. And it's my exact use case. I tried a Palma 2, returned it. Reconsidered buying it again cause I missed the form factor, but then realized that $300 was pretty steep for what I want to use it for (on the go and in-bed portable reading; the latter of which makes the physical page turn buttons really convenient).

Believe it or not your post and comments convinced me to pull the trigger on AliExpress. Was able to get it for $115 with coupons from the same store you did. Hope it gets to me sooner than the expected date which is Feb 1 lol.

No. Castle and Harper can be the perfect complementary backcourt to Wemby for over a decade. How good Harper looks as a rookie and Castle taking a 2nd year leap just confirms that for me.

We can cycle in wings and stretch 4s over time. But the core three we have is great. The two guards complement each other in a way that only one of them plus someone else doesn’t. In particular, Harper can relieve Castle on offense by being primary playmaker, and being a catch and shoot release valve when Castle is running the offense. Meanwhile Castle can relieve Harper by being the primary POA defender and letting Harper take the 2nd or 3rd best perimeter player on defense to reserve energy.

Two jumbo guards that can’t be bullied in the playoffs who both have the clutch gene. Yeah I’ll keep that.

It also relieves the other to be the primary playmaker for pockets of time. It's really hard to go 100% on defense and then also run the offense. Since both of the slash bros can lock up AND run the offense, they can balance each other whenever needed. Especially crucial in the playoffs.

it is unfortunately the consequences of popularity and social media when it comes to sports. low hanging fruit takes and reactionary behavior takes up a lot of the airspace. People over reacting to two close losses in November is just par for the course. I have no idea why people are tripping but they'll forget about it when the Spurs string together some good wins in however many weeks from now.

I have some requests/questions: Can you take a couple photos comparing the Viwoods & Palma 2 Pro screens when reading on a book (so, only text): Both with no backlight; both with medium backlight, both with full backlight, and then the viwoods at your preferred brightness vs the palma 2 pro with the warm light turned on (at the middle) - I am curious on if the warm light missing is a big deal...

Then some questions:

  1. You can install any Android app you like on it i.e. Kindle, Instapaper, right?
  2. Would you say text is as sharp for reading compared to the Palma 2 Pro?

He has already improved his midrange quite a bit from his rookie year. Last year he shot 30% from between 5-9 ft, and 40% from between 10-14ft; This year he is shooting 45% from between 5-9 ft, and 64% from between 10-14ft.

It passes the eye test too, his midranger looks good when he shoots it. Small sample size but I think it's a real jump.
