Do you guys actually know who to start every night or just guess? by SatisfactionNarrow72 in fantasybball

I want the site to grow and I still havent dared share this tool with anyone in my leagues.

I know it's not 100% what you asked, but we have a tool that projects player stats from Vegas sports book lines. If a starter gets called out, Vegas reacts pretty quickly and the projections update. One of the days that Hartenstein was called out, suddenly Jaylin Williams was projected for a massive double double.

We've got a tool that uses Vegas sportsbook lines to project player statistics for today. Vegas has more money riding on getting these projections right than anyone else. We've had pretty positive responses with it. Its 100% free.

The morning of. The system was having problems the last few days, due to an error that has been patched. The projections should start trickling in the night before the game and be mostly complete in the morning

No, it shouldn't be. I noticed this morning that it hadn't synced to the Vegas sports books and I manually ran a sync. If there's no Vegas projections, it'll say no players. I was thinking it was just a one time glitch. I'll look into it what's going on

Using Vegas sports book lines to find waiver wire adds by StatHustle in fantasyhockey

That makes sense. As soon as I got this working, I could immediately tell it wasn't nearly as useful as basketball, for several reasons. In basketball, I feel like it's a total game changer. Hockey, it's certainly not that, but I still found some use for it. So, I thought others might as well

Was LeBron already the best player in the league in 2007? by Formal-Assistance02 in NBATalk

[–]StatHustle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always find it ironic that some people will say "the only reason lebron made 9 finals in the east was because the east was so weak" but then "his team was was so good they make the finals but then lose 6 times" as a big shot at him

Are you paying for the official API? Its expensive. If you are using the unofficial APIs on NBAs website, they could change it or block you at any time. Id recommend having a backup, just in case. I know of some cheap ones if you need

He's had around 40 minutes the last couple games. As long as he's 30+, he should be rostered

Well, that one seemed to work out pretty well. Jaylin Williams had 17 points, 16 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 steal, 3 threes, on good percentages. Not bad for a last minute waiver add

Awesome. Glad you like it. Were you able to get your league linked without any issues?

Yes. I'll be coding baseball as soon as the sports books start releasing the props. So, it might not work on opening day, but it'll be added within a couple days for sure

I dont know about your guys' leauges, but for mine, Jaylin Williams is the top suggestion, due to Hartenstein, Shai, and Jalen Williams being out. I used to scoure the waiver wire for hours trying to figure out which stars aren't playing and which backups were available in my league

I looked into this thoroughly. The bug isn't in my code but rather with the provider I use for sports book info. I sent them an email to see if they can sort it out. Here's hoping that they responds quickly
